£1400 and they are poot seats??Wengerism wrote:Got offered a season ticket last season (have been on the waiting list for 7 years) but deferred it as they were offering me poor seats for around 1400.
Was just wondering if anyone knew if they're likely to offer me better seats this season or if I can somehow go about getting better seats?

Your first offer of a ST will be where they have the most spaces, which judging by last season was in the upper tier.
Can't really advise as to what "good seats" are but you will have more flexibility in the lower tier if you are sat alone, just tell them where you want to sit and they will tell you what is available.

This week has been mental, exchanged on our new house, went to glastonbury for 6 days and celebrated my 30th birthday and now just become a gold member.
I just need to sell some internal organs to pay for it all!

My 10 year old son is after getting an email congratulating him on renewing his season ticket........two weeks after sending the c.unts an email requesting a deferral to which they stated that it would be reviewed by someone in charge
Havent checked my credit card yet but can the c.untbags charge my card without my authorisation ? Am seriously seriously pissed off at the mo

Re: Gold Level Membership 2013/14 - Renewal Information
They can't and you can just ask the credit card company to cancel the transaction. You never know they are so incompetent they may not notice and you could get the tix free. If you do, don't post it on here!augie wrote:My 10 year old son is after getting an email congratulating him on renewing his season ticket........two weeks after sending the c.unts an email requesting a deferral to which they stated that it would be reviewed by someone in chargeHavent checked my credit card yet but can the c.untbags charge my card without my authorisation ? Re: Choosing seat for new ST holder
Hey,
Sorry to open up an old thread but had a question - do you know when ST offer letters are being sent out to those on the waiting list ?
Thanks!

Re: Choosing seat for new ST holder
As far as im aware you get a call from the club if your next on the list.
last year my mate who was on the list for nearly 9 years got a call and he declined, last week he was called again out of the blue, again offering him a ticket for £1200 on the upper tier, again he declined, for financial reasons....
I suspect the list is so short that they are calling those who refused last year .. to be sure.. then working their way down...
Give the club a call, im sure they will be pleased to take your money, or atleast advise you where you are on the current ever declining list...
Good luck..

Re: Choosing seat for new ST holder
I deferred last season after being offered only upper tier tickets and was currently unemployed after bring made redundant.
I got a call July 1st I think and I asked for one in the north bank lower, got one in block 6
It's alot easier getting single seats in the Lower tier but I would imagine they are all gone by now.

I was up in block 101 for 5 years, last season i emailed in and said i wanted to move my 2 seats to the lower tier, and on the online application the options were varied for the reasons why, i stated rightly that it was financial and wanted to be on the lower tier. They gave me a call at an agreed date and time and was offered one in block 8 where i am now..
£400 cheaper than my lasts seats and closer to the pitch ...
Re: Choosing seat for new ST holder

Re: Gold Level Membership 2013/14 - Renewal Information
So I was offered a season ticket on Friday ( was 19,000 or so on the waiting list after the most recent update).
I rang them up to check availability and some absolute tool picked up the phone and was pretty rude to me. Told me there was no lower tier and if I deferred I would be kicked off the list next year. However I had read through the forum that it really depends who you speak to and how helpful they will be.
So I rang up again 3 hours later and spoke to a really helpful lady but she told me the same that was not any lower tier available. We discussed upper tier prices but I couldn't justify paying that much to be so far away so said I would have to defer. She put me on hold to get my code for next year and came back and told me that someone had just pulled out in lower tier block 7 ( i'm not sure if this was true but I'd like to believe she was going out of her way to help me). Snapped that one up and am now a season ticket holder. Can't wait to see Suarez and Fellani against Villa first home game...

Ha ha ha ha ha....................I like your optimism. However, you'll have that knocked out of you very soon into the new season when you realise that the "promises" the club make never happen and that you have actually joined the ranks of the ripped off!!
