Regardless of whether or not Real wanted to use him to broker a deal for Bale, at the end of the day Higuain will not go to Spurs unless there are no other credible offers. He may not be attracting the attention of the top bracket of clubs but surely he'd take the likes of us or Napoli any day over a team with no CL pedigree that would have just sold their only really class player.
Also no way are Spurs going to splash out upwards of £25m for him - especially when they've already spent about £25m on Paulinho and that winger from Alkmaar and not recouped a penny with no added CL money either. Tbh I can't think who they might recoup any substantial money for - I don't expect any more notable signings from them unless they were to sell Bale. In which case they're fuckety-fucked.

Over rated is harsh SteveO. He's a powerhouse of a man and he's made shit of us on a fair few occasions. He'd be a great addition to the midfield, finally putting a bit of steal in there not seen since the days of Vieira/Petit. And no I am not comparing him to either of those two before anyone gets their knickers in a twist.
Yes we're crying out for a world class striker but we could badly do with a midfield enforcer too and Sideshow Bob fits the bill for me. Definitely don't want to see us spunk away 22 million quid on LegoHead Mark 2.
