Banners for first home game

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That puddle is rather symbolic isn't it :(

We've become Groundhog FC
Groundhog FC :barscarf:
If someone at redaction doesn't march on down to the club & get them to change the pre-match "anthem" to I Got You, Babe sharpish I'm gonna lose my faith in them completely. :(
Well, I know a bloke down the market who can get hold of a hooky groundhog... :rubchin:

Hehe, I quite like that idea ; a bit too subtle for most of the fanbase though....

If genuine gooners stop buying official merchandise, crap beer and food at matches as a sign off enough is enough, changes may happen sooner than you think. Unfortunately, the corporate and tourist visitors to the ground would not care less....
Hit them where it hurts, their bank balance!
I disagree, action (within the law that is) by protest, voice, banners etc is always more likely to grab the medias attention, not buying merchandise ie the effect gets 'hidden' this can be covered up ie not declaring to the world 'drop in sales' - not buying merchandise etc is a 'cop out' IMO for those who don't want to get involved in voicing / airing their frustrations and disappointment with the club....
Disagree mate, we've had a couple of marches, no change. We've had banners at away matches, no change. As for the media, the club could not give a shite what they think. We've been slated in the media for years now as regards to our boardroom policies. It all about money money money. Remember the arsenal bond??? Seem to remember some decent protests from proper fans, looked what happened there...

It was Worthing_Gooner who first suggested the "Tick Tock" idea..Dan came up with a good design based on WG's idea.

I'm allowed to say this as it's a meaningless money making exercise but we just have to get spanked in both games this weekend and the crowd need to turn on Wenger. Well that's the theory but given it'll be a lot of 'nice' supporters having a jolly nice day out in the sun, maybe they won't be the £1000 per Season Ticket holders who will want to demand action in the transfer market.

Yep I hope we get dicked both games. Pre-season has little bearing on results after the league actually starts but if Higuain fires Napoli to victory over us media will love it.
