As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's hardly an either or situation... and I think there's nothing wrong whatsoever with the club trying to have a little fun with their younger fans on twitter. I know most of us are miserable old cants, but there's still a shed load of younger fans who should be allowed to engage with the club in a fun, carefree way.
No. No, no, and no.
Miserable bugger. Don't like Lee Evans, don't like Arsenal engaging with young fans, don't like James Bond.... anything else?
Bite your tongue!! Jimmy The Bond movies are (usually) great. Just did not like the "Hollywoodisation" of the last one.

DB10GOONER wrote:Jaysus, that is tragic. Had the pleasure of meeting him onstage at one of those "ask an ex-player a question" things in Block 30 or 31 a few years back. I was pissed, I think he was too! Anyway I gave him a big hug and whilst initially he looked a bit scared he took it well. I was proper impressed to meet a proper Arsenal legend and he was an absolute gent although at my towering 5'8" I was a clear inch above him, which surprised me, as I always got the impression he clocked in around 5'10"... bit like the way Lefty thinks he himself is now clocking in at 5'10"!!
As a player Kenny was brilliant, one of the best English left backs of the last 40 years, rugged, skilled, fearless, intelligent, pacey and could actually cross a ball!!! (take note Sagna/Gibbs ). As a Captain he was Arsenal through and through.
a) Your figures seem off b) You forgot to mention he was 3 steps below you
I am 5'9" and 3 inches taller at the weekend
I keep telling you mate I'm too tall to join your "Time Bandits" gang
And Kenny Samson IS a legend, brilliant player.....
You are a fully fledged Time Bandit, Lefty. Embrace your dwarfism! (and no, I don't mean give OneBard a hug!!)

BJs. He cannot stand BJs.
This is true.
So who works out the wife's vocal chords of a weekend?

Sigh.
Guess I'll do it then.
The things I do for a fellow gooner.
You'd have to slide through my arse to access her throat my friend. Bit like Spuddy did with Percy/Gus and The Doris.

Unbeknown to his wife, he asked us to 'look after' his drinks inside the DJ booth ; initially two bottles of wine, which he would pour into a pint glass and drink in one, as he escaped the wife for a few minutes under the guise of a toilet break.
Been on and off the wagon numerous times since then I think.
I remember this day quite well, after that he went to the cab station but ended up with his wife, me and a few others in phibbers for a 'late one', he had alot of time for the fans sober or not and he listened to what people said, a real legend in my eyes

The above was tweeted by a so called journalist with the daily express.this scumbags name is mattbew dunn
He's deleted it now, but surprisingly for a Daily Express journalist he didn't mention anything about or link it to Princess Di's death!!
Back to much more important things, Kenny is a fucking legend. I wrote to him at primary school back in 86 and got a signed photo back - I was sooo chuffed.
The sight of him lifting the Littlewoods Cup in his Arsenal flat cap with a massive grin will always live with me.
He knew how special it was to play for The Arsenal, especially as captain.
he was in the sun today and tbh looks pretty good .i just pray that Arsenal stick by him,he was a hero of mine bitd,a left back like me,although Kenny didn't quite cut it like I did
One of my favourite players and a real character. I still have his book that he wrote over the course of the 1986-87 season and its a really enjoyable read. Football was so much better back then.
86 England caps I believe (possibly Arsenal's most capped player ? )
Arsenal Legend, saw him at Cardiff before one of the cup finals there (can't remember which one as we used to be in lots of them )
