I'll probably be coming over for the away leg and my preference would be: PSV, Sociedad, Fenerbache, Pacos, Metalist
I thought Fenerbache were banned from Europe?
They appealed and the final ruling won't be made by CAS until August 28th (right before group stage draw) so we would have to play them. But if we lost to them and then they got thrown out, we make it in the backdoor :barscarf:.

Metalist could also be thrown out: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... ixing.html

The first leg will be tough, Turkey is always a sh*t place to go to, at least t's not a long trip to the Ukraine. I'm sure Dirk K**t will be looking forward to dumping us out for his old bin dipping mates

Always good to be away first leg though I think. At least it's not PSV...

Great chance for some early pressure on wenker. Lose in Istanbul but nevertheless "give absolutely everything" so we're "jaded" at Fulham on the Saturday. Following week go out of this shit competition for good then lose to the scum

Toughest draw we coulda got, Fener are a very decent side the last year or two. I see a very real possibility of us not progressing.

Still, it makes sense to hold the spending until after we've got through the qualifier eh?! :banghead:

Of course if we do get through, One Arsene will be lauded by his disciples, who will no doubt be anticipating plenty of spending in the five days of the window remaining :banghead:

I reckon we'd be up amongst the top two if we fixed our matches as well...

I can envisage us not signing any quality players, losing to Spurs at home and Wenger sending this place into meltdown by declaring we won our biggest game that week after scraping through on away goals against Fenerbahce

Lads going out of champs league is not an option for us as it would prevent us from sign all those top players who only want to play for champs league clubs - you know players like..... :rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin: :banghead: :banghead:

But as a result of reaching the group stages, Wenger gets his new contract :barscarf:
