SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

looks like a teenage Mel Smith...

all the best to the Chamster, he got 8 in 9 before AW coached his self confidence, positioning and first touch out of him.

Typical, we can't seem to finalise a deal for anyone this summer

Graham Kelly looks like this kid:

Maradonna agreed a deal with us, but the Falklands War came along and ended the deal.

That kid is hilarious!

So when he's good it's down to him, when he's bad it's down to Wenger
sounds like DB10 only counting the bets he wins!

Get him and a great CB (assuming the DM thing is actually happening) and i'd be happy (and we can avoid the Suarez circus.
You forgot to add he's got a terrible, awful barnet :)

L Gustavo is moving for CL football, only way he will start in Brazil
Does "Augs" know you have a pet name for him, JD? :D - I guess opposites really do attract
"Augs" :lol:

Just doesn't have the same feel to it as his proper pet name; "Bald culchie uncle-molesting goat-fucker". :-P

but IMO it shows we're a bit desperate that buying Bayern's 3rd choice DM is being sold as a marquee signing
he is world class...don't rate him as 3rd choice..if so it is at a club who is the best in the world at the moment....
Gustavo is a very good player. I don't understand why he slipped out of the Munich team. He is currently Scolari first choice on the defensive midfielder position.

Don't worry guys, we will bid 5 million less than his asking price, then act surprised when he goes to Lazio.

If he does sign, i'll do a lap of the stadium with my arse hanging out. :D

As a player gourcuff would be somebody that I rate but given that he seems to be a playmaker and we already have cazorla and rosicky to fill that role, why would we take him ? As I said though, I would be happy if we signed him especially if he was on loan with a view to a permanent deal 8)

Now that the Gustavo thing is public, Wenger won't hang about, he'll move with the speed of a Mogadon salesman who has overdosed on his own product!! c.unt.

"All we are singing, is sign someone up!"

This will be like London buses! We well sign Gustavo and then two more signings will immediately follow! :barscarf:

Each year we say that the transfer window cannot get anymore depressing.........
