Our 1st 10 games in AW's last season-Prediction

Post by topgoon »

The 1st 10 games, the point at which we know where we will be in the pecking order of sh*t.

We will be where we always are not threatening shit, dong just about enough to top a champs league group then blowing it in the last 2 games so we come second and get a tough knockout stage game.

This year I honestly don't know what they'll do but the mounting injuries in August(Impressive even by our medics) suggest we will be up sh*ts creek without a paddle and a panic buy will not be enough. The scum finally have a decent squad and can match us and in some back up areas improve on us. Liverpool are no threat unless they keep buck toothed racist but it's not them that will be our worry. We always finish ahead of the scum because in the end we will beat the sh*t teams when t matters.

The problem is those sh*t teams have seriously strengthened, bar Stoke, every body from 8-17th from last season have added where they needed to. Think Norwich last year when we fluked a 3-1 win against them, all they had upfront was that useless journey man Kamara upfront, who was so good, they sent him back to the MLS. Now they will have Van Dog's cock and Hooper as further options.

Anyway these are my predictions for the start of the season

Villa (H) 1pt
Fulham(A) 1pt
Scum(H) 0pt
Sunderland(A) 3pts
Stoke(H) 3pts
Swansea(A) 0pt
West Brom(A) 1pt
Norwich(H) 3pts
Crystal Palace(A) 3pts
Liverpool(H) 1pt

16/30 pts

This won't be his last season m8.

Villa (H) 3pt
Fulham(A) 3pt
Scum(H) 3pt
Sunderland(A) 3pts
Stoke(H) 3pts
Swansea(A) 3pt
West Brom(A) 3pt
Norwich(H) 3pts
Crystal Palace(A) 3pts
Liverpool(H) 3pt (Suarez to score a last minute own goal for Liverpool to hand us victory, in protest of them not letting him go).

Wenger has learnt his lesson, instead of the usual dross before matches [Such as just ''go out there and express yourselves'' and not proper training] he will adopt proper game plans for each opponent and rigorous training sessions. Each opponent will be analysed in 3D videos which will be shown to players. We will be more tactful a la Chelsea and still play the orgasm inducing football which has been missing the past 2 seasons.

In Wenger we trust.

If we don't buy the players we need to buy...

3pts vs Aston Villa (H) - The players will be up for the first match.
1pt vs Fulham (A) - It'll be very a tight match.
1pt vs Sp*rs (H) - If they keep Bale, we might lose.
1pt vs Sunderland (A) - First tough trip to the North.
3pts vs Stoke City (H) - We always do them at home.
1pt vs Swansea City (A) - Swanselona vs Arselona, nothing between the sides.
1pt vs West Brom (A) - No Lukaku this season but they're still a solid outfit.
3pts vs Norwich City (H) - Should be an easy victory.
3pts vs Crystal Palace (A) - They have Chamakh up front...
3pts vs Liverpool (H) - After the Suarez saga, the players will be desperate to win this match.

20 points from the first 10 games.

We'll probably lose before our 11th match (Man Utd (A)) but I won't predict defeats for the sake of predicting defeats.

Wins against Villa, Stoke, Norwich, West Brom,
Draws against Swansea, Liverpool, Palace, Sunderland
Defeat against Fulham, Scum

16 points or thereabouts - which would be a completely piss-poor return given that we don't play any of the top 3 and we play the Scum and Liverpool at home.

Wenger's last season? But we don't know the fixtures for 16/17 season yet mate?

As for our first 10 games this season, i'll go with;

Villa (H) 3pt
Fulham(A) 1pt
Scum(H) 1pt
Sunderland(A) 3pts
Stoke(H) 3pts
Swansea(A) 1pt
West Brom(A) 1pt
Norwich(H) 3pts
Crystal Palace(A) 3pts
Liverpool(H) 1pt

20/30, exactly the kinda form that, if we keep it up all season, will see us hovering around the battle for 4th spot. Again. Can't fucking wait.

i didn't know the 2017 fixture list was out yet...

we won half our home games last year +1, so i'd go for :

Villa (H) 1pt - 0-0
Fulham(A) 1pt - 1-1
Scum(H) 3pt - 2-1
Sunderland(A) 1pts - 0-0
Stoke(H) 1pts - 1-1
Swansea(A) 0pt - 0-2
West Brom(A) 1pt - 1-1
Norwich(H) 3pts 4-0
Crystal Palace(A) 3pts - 3-0
Liverpool(H) 1pt 1-1

15pts.

thats pretty consistent with last years form and opponents. apart from the odd thrashing, we are a borefest - think Don Howe 83/84, going nowhere soon. but the spuds win at the bowl and the odd thrashing will keep the akb's flowing through the turnstiles of the Armory (wtf.LOL) and shirt sales high.

yay us.

Yeah 20 points is probably a bit more realistic but I insisted on being more negative

On past seasons' form we won't lose touch with 4th even if we start poorly - and with the piss easy fixture list we have in the first 10 games even 20 points is a very modest return.

If Red WUMber had posted that list then the stream of invective would have run to 5 pages. Classic.

The spurs game will be vital, as will be the form of Giroud. If Giroud struggles to find his scoring boots which is a distinct possibility, we could be arounf 7th or 8th at Christmas. If he hits the ground runnkng we will be around 4th as usual.
