SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

yep but the 2013 chapter could actually be a comedy.

The book could be titled : "Finished", "Throwing It away" but for alternative slant you could have "An Audience with Imbeciles(us of course)" "why an economics degree makes me better than you"

Shows how bad it's got that people are furious we missed out on a DM.
I think there are plenty of options up front let alone as DM!
No 95/96. Both got us into Europe on the last day of the season.

Onebard used one sarcastic comment out of frustration due to his love of the club which im sure we all have. If it was ignored and seen as such we wouldnt have had pages of aguements spread accross 2 threads and now Highbury JD is like a dog with a bone.

Let it go and leave the moderation to the MODS.

thats all :banghead:

You'd need a fcuking wheel barrow to get that tome out the door of WH Smiths
What would be the title of the book......answers on a postcard

Suggestions:

The A-Z of Super Quality
The Discount Stores of Southern France
Around Africa on a Fiver

I think it was 96/97 when after siging Lukic back on a free and being linked with many players we signed no one and had no manager. This was the time that Sheringham was quoted as saying they were "having a laugh at the Arsenal" due to our crisis.
Even though it felt like a crisis at the time it did turn out okay. This time however I think we are in the shit.
Is this the equivelent of preparing for a long car drive by having bald tyres, broken windscreen wipers, negligible brake pads, exhaust manifold scraping the tarmac, and a broken tail light, yet still insisting it will be fine, while having a disposable £1m in the trunk?
Keep it civil chaps, its only a game, we dont want another shutdown.
Come what may I still cant wait to see them tomorrow, neither can most of you lot, and you knows it!
No, I don't want to see them, I'm working!!!

the only top class (alleged) striker left is jackson something or other at porto i think, have we been linked with him at all?

not world class as the primeira liga is not a top league, but these strikers from porto seem to come good
