As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
If the dithering French myopic twat doesn't make at least 4 serious signings - which we all know he will not - by the close of the transfer window - then we'll be Incredibly Lucky to finish in the top 5.
As for predictions...well.....With Inspector Clueless having been given his 'Card Out Of Gaol' - with the War Chest and then ignoring it (and our pleas) - we will fail miserably this up n coming season...which will be the cue for manure or $shitty to come in and buy Jack the lad - £50 million - which will be a steal...but stan syrup and wenker will get the tissues out and cream themselves over the 'Profit'....
That's the best prediction I can make....
coz unless wenker goes and Usamov comes in..we izz well and truly F*CKED innit.
I think that's a bit too negative to be honest. 4th finish in the league is realistic i rekon. take a look at this season preview for a convinving argument http://bit.ly/13SN7er. A Cultured Left Foot is talking sense.

Getting rid of our useless players doesn't actually make the team any stronger as the article seems to imply. As happy as I am to see the back of those players it's not like we were losing points by having them in the squad.
And saving money is great - if you're willing to spend it elsewhere. Cash in the bank isn't going to win you any points.
I've already made sure that Mrs SteveO is away for the final weekend of the season when we secure the 4th place trophy at Carrow Road because I want to make sure I can pull my pud to my heart's content at Wenger's latest "greatest achievement"

Job done. Virtual trophy in the cabinet again, and everything is rosy in Wenger's garden for another year.
Palace will do better than you think. ManU will do worse than you think. Chelsea will win in a canter and if things stay as is Spuds will be top 3 and we will be in the dross. No emotion in that just objective opinion.
Goonertux placed United 3rd and you think they'll do worse than he thinks??
It was a more generic comment - although i do think 3rd is optimistic. What i meant is i think ManU will see the start of a relative downcycle now - i reckon Moyes is going to struggle and if he doesnt get rid of Rooney the place will get cancerous. Plus they are just one RVP injury away from being ordinary.
Bloody depressing though really that the top 7 yet again get the top 7- whilst its nice to be "up there" really the PL is a pretty shit entity, apart from The Victims Manure and Palace theres been no surprises to speak of. Its getting very like Serie A or La League or even heaven forbid The Bundesliga
That was certainly not the case 25 or 30 years ago when thge likes of Blackburn Villa Forest Derby Ipswich were up for it and winning it. Not to mention 24 years when Liverpool were winning it
It really must be depressing being a true fan of one of them, the occasional game to cheer about, ritual sacking of managers with big payout being asked to do the impossible, endless upping and downing from PL to Championship. I think the football leagues in danger of imploding at some point in the not too distant future. Perhaps the only good thing is to see Leicester & Burnley come up for a change and Cardiff this season.
