hey exhiledinbrum,

yeah..will do mate!

Anyway, I was just telling Picadilly...I feel much better now that i've been on this forum for an hour - its good therapy for me

Look.. we know we can win at Anfield. In fact we HAVE to...'cos if it ends up 1-1 and goes to penalties..i'm not sure I could cope!

The thought of Hleb taking a penalty at Anfield scares the shit out of me....in fact, instead of shooting, the sod would probably try and pass!

Number 5,

ok...my RvP remark was actually just exasperation that the poor lad is injured again...thats all. Nothing more, nothing less.

We have done well without him this season, but at the same time, he gives us somthing extra that having Hleb in the free-role doesn't give us..a goal threat. Someone who is dangerous from anywhere within 30yards.
- Unfortunately Hleb isn't a threat from 3yards...never mind 30! although Hleb is still a favourite of mine!

lol...hope that's clarifies things!

And mate....you ARE NOT ALONE! we did play well 2nd half..and yes, of course we are capable of winning at Anfield...and so the tie is..."up for grabs now"!
- you see...a little optimism is breaking through already! I didn't expect that for at least another day or 2!!

I CAN SEE A LITTLE GENIUS BURSTING THROUGH THE MIDFIELD IN THE NUMBER FOUR SHIRT TO SLOT THE WINNER!

bloody hell Gus...can you be a little more specific please!

All you've done is narrow it down to Cesc or Hyppia! :(

Just home from the match. Thank f*ck we drove as it sounds like we'd still be there if we'd got the Piccadilly line from Cockfosters!

Very frustrating game, but set up nicely now for the 2nd leg. Just wish I was going as I think it'll be a famous night!! Difficult to see us not scoring, so they will need to come out and beat us. And they haven't done that too many times in recent years.

And if you want an omen, just listen to all the pundits saying that Liverpool played tonights game "perfectly" and how good they are in the competition....! I seem to remember another pundit (think he was the one with a penchant for car parks  !) comentating on our match at Anfield in 89 and saying, when the scousers were 0-1 down with a minute to go, how they'd played the game just right and how good they were in the competition. We all know what happened then and we all know that......"We're going to Moscow, to see the Bear...."!!!! Chins up everyone  !!!

Sorry mate I don't want to seem like I'm picking on you, but we are talking about the same RVP who stuck a one on one volley into the stands, whose 20 yard shot could have been saved by..... Me actually.

Yes he crossed for the goal, but christ their defence was all over the place for that, as suberbly argued by Gordon Strachan on Sly tonight.

Don't get me wrong now I have posted before that I belive RVP is one of the top 5 fowards in the world but he just hasn't looked fit since his first injury back in October I think.

Unusually I'm pretty optimistic after tonight, but the biggest thing that pissed me off tonight was Kuyt scoring. I mean if a lot of people are against Bendtner, thank fuck we don't have Kuyt, he is awful. But he still scores against us.

SPOT ON MK GOULD! HAVE FAITH IN THE ARSENAL! Everyone thought we would lose against bolton but we won, 2-0 down 10 men by half time, call it a freak result but we finnally had the good luck! BURSTING THROUGH THE MIDFIELD! IT'S UP FOR GRABS NOW!

Number 5,

Hey, no probs...

you're right - RvP has hit row z rather too often in the last couple of games....but, he's been out most of the season. At some point, once he's played a few games in a row, he will start producing the goods again.

But, thats the problem.... he's gonna miss the next game or 2 now, so when he finally gets back into the team again, he'll be rusty again, and will have to play his way into form.

My hope was that the games he plays now, will benefit us in the coming weeks...maybe against Chelsea in the semi finals.

As for Kuyt....yes, him scoring against us is unbelievable...I mean the guy couldn't hit a barn door from 20 paces....but, of course, against the Arsenal, he turns into Gary f*ckin Lineker :(

But thats the way things have gone recently I guess.

And, as for Bendtner.....people seem to think the boys crap, but I like him. he's clearly not ready..but is it his fault that Wenger chooses to throw him in the deep end and not loan him out to a prem club? nope.

He'll be class....eventually.
