Fenerbahce away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don't worry mate - in the predictable AFC calendar we win this game as regularly as we drop out of the title race in October, the League Cup in December and the FA Cup in February, and win the virtual trophy in May

We'll earn the right for more thrills and spills against Olympiakos before a drubbing in Madrid / Turin / Milan / Munich (delete as appropriate). There will probably be a meaningless second leg victory to tug off to though

What's the point of being in this competition anyway? I'm bored shitless with it. The less games I have to endure this current shower of shit, the better.

Only 37 league games to go :barscarf:

If we win, we win. If we lose, it'll make no difference, Le Wanker will still be there.

I hate the scum, but they are going to be on a different level to us, this season. They have bought well, and we have stood still. If Wenger had bought wisely, we could be comfortably better than them, but the more we penny pinch, the more incentive we are giving to those pricks :banghead:

I also now don't give a shit about this game. Our powder-puff midfield will be overrun, we might only have 3 fit defenders, old 50p head will do his usual wincing at every gilt-edged opportunity he sends wind, and I'll be in New York anyway so bollox to it all! Things have got so bad now, I don't care anymore until he's gone.

3-1 Fenerbahce.
ironic, our last match away at fener was a 5-2 win :rubchin:

Ive said numerous times on here tht i never ever want us to lose a game but i couldnt give a flying fuck about this game or the sCompetition ,its the be all and end all for wenger, every season the fa cup and league cup are sacrificed in pursuit of this competition and after 16/17 years in it we have only come close to winning it once.I have to laugh at some of the posters on here who say we need to be in it to attract top players well have a look round and if you can name a few of the top players tht we have after being in it since time began you are a better man than me.

The scum have been very pro-active in the transfer window and have bought some quality players......No Last Minute Trolley dash for teen Wolf! :banghead: ...and even without monkey boy...will be serious contenders for top 4 !....

It still comes down to:

Why has our inept leader not acted in the window yet?

If "IF" he somehow manages to convince any decent players to join us - we will still struggle to finish above the scum...this may well be the season we all have been dreading when the scum finish above us...they nearly did the last 2 seasons...it wasn't so much our superior ability that got us 4th...more their prediliction to combust and shoot themselves in the foot at the run in...

A 2-1 defeat, and Wenger to only discuss the away goal after the game. Any mention of the fact, we have lost 2 games in a few days, will lead to the prick throwing his toys out of the pram.
