How did Higuain and Bernard get on yesterday?

At least I'm pissed now. Rosicky was good.
There really isn't that much positive to say about anyone else.
Sagna's fall was nasty (very dirty from Benteke IMO) he could well miss Fenerbahce and Fulham
Koscielny (pretty rubbish apart from the great tackle for a pen) is suspended for both
Obviously Vermaelen misses them too, Nacho isn't fit.
Selling clubs will know we are desperate and we'll overpay anyway.
Terrible close season fek up.
Hope the signings we eventually do make are worth the wait (heartache & dropped points)
Now its PANIC PANIC time because all of the top quality that was available has moved and we're now looking at fucking Michu for £20m. I actually think he'll struggle to get a dozen league goals this year and it will be just our luck that the Self Harmer will break our transfer record to get him.
Another paceless striker.....just what's needed....not
I bet you wished we had of signed Darren bent or remy now steve eh![]()

Everyone is in a dark side waiting room till we either buy or the window shuts
Re: Villa match thread
I'm in the States at the moment mate so haven't spoken to him after yesterday's debacle but he was still in the Block 2 Brainwashed Club prior to my departure.......no BBQ for him. Whenever I suggest we need a new manager (every time I've seen him in the last 5 years) he still backs it up with "Who? Who?" and if you suggest everyone from Mourinho to Klopp, or Moyes to Guardiola, he'll still find good reason (well in his mind) as to why There's Only One is better than the lot of them.franksav63 wrote:SteveO, has your dad come over to the dark side yet??SteveO 35 wrote:About as much as I wish we'd bring Vela backaugie wrote:SteveO 35 wrote:An honest appraisal I'd say. Its amazing because he's actually a bright bloke - he's just got that part of his brain missing

If I ever bump into you when I'm on a Block 2 freebie with the window lickers I'll introduce you......should be an interesting chat. He might just tell you to Be Careful What You Wish For too

Re: Villa match thread
With limited funds to invest and a need to generate £19M a year just to break even
there was IMO nobody better than Arsene for the job
that's not where we are now, we have boosted income streams and lots of money in the bank (thanks Arsene)
we now need somebody to spend it. In a way refusing to do so could be seen as a noble move,
he's saved some dosh for his successor.
Personally can't see this squad achieving our minimum targets without multiple high quality additions.
If that happens the manager should be let go, a sax sad end to a great Arsenal career.

Read his post match comments again
"unhappy with the spirit" in which the game was refereed. Honestly he needs a mentor to tell him sometimes its best to say nothing at all.
What a fucking stupid thing to say. The 'spirit' - fuck me, does he have to use that word in every interview

I think he may be contractually obliged to, with 'desire' and 'mental strength' used in rotation every other interview.SteveO 35 wrote:Read his post match comments again
