SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'd pick any one of them (except van Ginkel who I haven't seen play) but if they were all available I'd probably leave Ba on the bench and go with Lukaku on his own up front. Don't think you can play a 4-man midfield with Cazorla and Mata and I wouldn't want to leave either of those out.

I'd be surprised if we buy full-backs.
We have 2 decent options on each side. Only worth buying if we sell.
We have 3 CBs + Sagna as an option. We only need a single CB.

So for me 'just' a CB, 2 mids (both solid/big), GK, a super star striker + another forward.

2 FB's one left and one right.

Right back because Sagna landed really badly yesterday. Ok I'll concede we probably need only one FB.I think we only need one big CM as I still think Coquelin and latterly Ping-Pong can do the job as back up. We have seen in flashes they are capable of it. Ping-Pong and all his Dench bollocks just need a strong manager(NOT AW) to get him to cut that crap out and get on with what he is there for. The handful of senior games he played for us, he looked decent enough. I don't even think we need star striker. If we offered Manure £25million for Hernandez, they would snap our hands off as they can put that money to Moyes big name that he so desperately wants.

Hernandez and another forward wouyld be perfect. Especially Chicharito. He's a penalty area striker and just lives for goals. With all the chances we create, he would easily become a 20+ goal a season striker.

:( sadly it's all pie in the sky.

We will get Gignac and Ka-fucking -Lou

Gustavo was man of the match for Wolfsburg in their 4-0 win over Shalke yesterday.

Not worth the money though, eh Wenger you absolute tit.

Yes but 1989 has now gone all negative on us , his appeal was his upbeat posts in the face of all the depression suffered by the rest of us. He was something of a folk hero but is now trying too hard to distance himself from his earlier mind set.

After yesterday I now believe a keeper has to be a top priority along with a new manager.

The irony of this prudency is that every club on the final days of transfer window will hike their fees knowing how desperate we are.

Just announced Southampton.yes fucking Southampton!, have just spent £15m on a centre forward from Serie A. The whole thing more farcical by the second. Can't shake off the anger and shame that went with being there yesterday and back to work tomorrow....nice

They had already spent about 12M on Wanyama from Celtic as well.

Everyone is struggling to sign players though....
