As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Getting such a weak Arsenal team to 4th place is no mean feat.
Graeme Souness.....a pundit I probably have more respect for than all the others put together.....actually said that the other night. I nearly fell off my virtual stool
Aaah yes, but were you virtually standing or vertically standing...or virtually sitting or sitting vertically?
Banners don't work. Empty seats (that haven't been paid for) work. Every Gooner do your duty. Unless Lord Cuntybollocks has a reverse lobotomy between now and Sept 2nd and signs the type of players we use to get excited about (1996-2004), then you all owe it to the future of this club to make a stand and ensure Kroenke HAS to make a decision i.e. either persist with Wenger in which case we'll hurt your business model, or back a new vibrant young manager with cash to invest for the long term future and we'll ensure we'll support the club the way we always did

Yes I agree that unsold tickets will send a strong message but I also think that thousands of empty seats (whether paid for or not) would be clearly highlighted by the media especially if it was a game live on tv
Talking of empty seats, there was a fairy big section of seats in the Clock End that was covered over on Saturday.
Admittedly there might have been a genuine reason for this but would anyone put it past the club to want to make it look like something other than what it was? A big area of unsold tickets behind the goal?

It's the new teenage ticket section, has it's own little segregated area so the stewards can ensure all seated there are of the appropriate age. I don't think the seats were empty, it looked just like a new barrier / border instead?

Ah okay fair enough, I wasn't even aware there was a teenage section.

Armchair Supporter had a decent one OBG.
I think that it caused strife at home one time, last season.
I am of the opinion that the vast majority will still accept the 'groundhog day' seasons of yester-year.
Nothing changes.
