Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
Today I have heard we are going to sign
Yohan Cabaye
Micah Richards
Paul Pogba
Michu
Ashley Williams
Arda Turan
Burak Yilmaz
Asmir Begovic
Julio Cesar (Yes again)
All I can say is that the press are not helping my f**king stress levels and the 10 million bid for Cabaye proves that Wenger is still treating the clubs transfer money like his own.

10m bid rejected for Cabaye , today sums up the last 7 years under Wenger. A complete and utter disgrace, a Spurs fan in charge would have more respect for us than Wenger does.
Cabaye, is exactly the sort of player we dont need....I mean we need players across the back 4 a keeper, DM winger striker. And here Wenker is throwing in laughable lowball bids for a frankly average French AM . Its no wonder the club is a laughing stock.
Its gone too far now, he has to go. Ashley Williams? Michu? Cabaye? Fuck me these are signings Fulham would make.

Spot on , it has gone too far , he needs pressure on him starting at Fulham , if our away fans turn it could be the start.Irish Gooner wrote:10m bid rejected for Cabaye , today sums up the last 7 years under Wenger. Fulham is the perfect place to give the *word censored* some abuse as he has to walk across the pitch to and from the dug outshu wrote:Spot on , it has gone too far , he needs pressure on him starting at Fulham , if our away fans turn it could be the start.Irish Gooner wrote:10m bid rejected for Cabaye , today sums up the last 7 years under Wenger. I honestly think Fulham will beat us.
If we get knocked out of the CL , and lose to Fulham and Spurs, which is not unlikely , I cannot see a way in which he would carry on. The venom and anger since Saturday has reached untold levels, and its only one game into the season.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
So, after nearly two months of the transfer window and months before that to plan, prepare and identify talent and potential purchases, the best that our world-wide scouting network can come up with is Williams, Michu, Cabaye and Suarez. Fucking hell, they must have travelled far and wide to find them. With the exception of the racist biter, the other wouldn't be anywhere near another supposedly top team but yet Wanker with his super quality, show me who's better policy obviously thinks that these are players who can turn us into a trophy winning team.
If transfer lists were drawn up at the end of the season and different categories of targets were discussed, just how far down the batting order were the these then and how many times have we been knocked back? They would't even be C or D list targets for any decent team. These players are not good enough to change things at Arsenal, they are typical Wanker signings; average, uninspiring, dull and further proof that Wanker wants to do just enough to get 4th spot.
If this is an indication of where we are right now and is the sum total of this summer and the preceding months then Wanker and the other people involved in the transfer dealings have been grossly negligent yet again. If Wanker is involved in this fiasco- and I'm sure he is- then he should either have the decency to resign or be giving the boot. If he isn't involved then he is complicit in this mismanagement by tolerating it. Either way, heads need to roll.

Wenker is the new King Kenny when it comes to buying players, look at all the shoite he bought for Liverpool and the prices, downing at 20M,carrol at 35m,its fucking ludicrous but in the next couple of weeks our dear leader we be doing a carbon copy which will leave our next manager with the worst squad weve seen in decades.i pray we sign nobody just to keep our powder dry.id rather languish mid table this season and see a new manager next summer with a massive war chest that hes willing to spend on class that he can actually attract

The desperation from Wenger is palpable. It's fucking pathetic for our club to be going though this.
Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
Our scouting is nothing special, scouting network caught up with in 2008. The only difference in getting players is cash money!
Wenger refuses to compromise in negotations and loses players over it.
Finishing 4th was a great opportunity to push forward, all that had happened in the past could have been explained by the notion, we had money (even though officially we had money if Arsene wanted to spend). The truth probably is there was always some money, but Arsene refused to spend. I cannot believe Arsene turned down the lifeline this summer because of his own arrogance. He has certainly been forced into making bids for the likes of cabaye and clubs will extract maximum money from us.
50M+ for Michu, Williams and Cabaye. Players at best could help us get top 4.
What a ****king disgrace this club are. All talk, posturing and heavy dose of b*llshit. Ripping off fans and calling it good business.
I'm glad that so many gooners around the country have finally had enough of the lies the spin, and the negligence at our Club. I hope stan has got his phone on, and perhaps he can finally realise that the man he fell in love with, arsene wenger isn't the girl of his dreams. She has seriously let herself go, and kindly can you both get lost.
How well put, the paradox of wanting wenger to spend and hating him spend it. All the praise and worshipping went to his head, and he has destroyed himself for it. This won't be like clough and Forest. Wenger has to go before he wastes any more time and money. I expect him gone within 12 months.
Stan can't continue running this club on autopilot, you're either involved or sell the club to usmanov. Could you imagine this happening if usmanov was in charge. Kroenke allowed wenger to do what he wanted and this is the result, a man totally out of his depth.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
Just came back and saw we've bid £10m for Cabaye. Not a bad player and a decent addition to the squad (although hardly improves quality) but not really a priority and more importantly it's pointless putting in bids like that that aren't going to be accepted. Newcastle ain't gonna sell an important player after the start of the season unless we pay over the odds.
Thought it couldn't get more embarrassing but I think I'll be proved wrong as we rush from pillar to post trying to lowball clubs into selling us average players. Criminal negligence.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
Worst thing that happened was Gazidis announcing we have mighty 70m.
That already told we won't sign anyone because everybody knows how much we have and will want a bigger piece of it.
Like this with Cabaye. Here you go, 10m. No Ivan, we know you have 70 and spent nothing, give us 30 and it's yours.
So, thank you IVAN!

Do you know, I honestly can't remember when I was last proud to support Arsenal
The club just lunge from one crisis to another. I bet we will have nothing to cheer this season either.
What a fucking start

What a fucking start

If Gazidis said we had £70m, you can bet that the figure was much higher. It's not his fault that the manager won't sanction purchases, has too much say on prices and wages and can't negotiate transfers at all.p206ab wrote:Worst thing that happened was Gazidis announcing we have mighty 70m.

£10m for Cabaye? We don't even need him. Just fuck off Turnip.
