THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Believers of Arsene's policies and words wait with baited breath for him to sign their copies of his latest magnus opus at his latest book launch

If this was a Welsh football site you'd have to remove that image because it would be seen as pornographic. :D

I kind of feel like the cop in the steamroller scene from Austin Powers. We all are shouting, but Wenger continues to plow on probably with a cliff on the end of it.

Although, I do think that if he buys no one, that would be the best scenario. I think that he will be hounded out of the club by fans especially considering their venom on matchday one. At least I will get some return on my season ticket.

On a positive note, there are a couple of managers available who could do a job for a season or two - Jupp Heynckes and Guus Hiddink.

Question from an outsider....these AKB's you are talking about...what is that for a group? I suppose some official Arsenal members?

It is a group, formerly made up of thousands but now consists of only one stupid twunt who can see talent and brilliance and long-term contracts worth £60,000 a week in the most ordinary of players.

“Since March we have lost one game and under very special circumstances"

We have an upgrade in the severity of the special circumstances now :D

So pathetic defending, the New Tony Adams being deservedly sent off and two correctly awarded penalties make it all special do they. Add in Villa hitting the post and generally pissing all over our defence at will and we were lucky it wasn't worse than 1-3
