6th. I’m fed up with 4th, it’s what the club wants with that extra home cup game guaranteed before three more in the CL group stage then one final one when we get knocked out. CL money for the club which they will just save, save, save and five games taken from the season ticket holders’ cup credits for a competition we will never win under Wenker.
I originally thought groundhog season so voted 4th but that was before the shambles of this transfer window.
Not replaced any of the deadwood at all, nevermind with anyone who will actually improve the first team.
Our squad is therefore ridiculously light with numerous players injured before a ball was even kicked. Now after one game the situation is even worse with AOC another long term injury and Kos suspended.
Having had supreme confidence of a top four finish the last few seasons and being surprised at several fans doubting we would finish ahead of spurs last season I now am surprised at how many think we will finish 4th this season (unless of course the majority, like me, voted 4th but have now changed their minds)
