Not really he's coming back after his whopping 2 caps for France.afcforever wrote:He sounds like a footballer then.spendsum4uckingmoney wrote:He used us a stepping stone. Disagree completely, as far as i know, before he had his breakthrough season, he wanted a new contract, and was told he would have to earn it. I can only guess, but presumably felt he was wronged by the club, so he left. As for your comment about him leaving for money, every modern day player is like that.spendsum4uckingmoney wrote:He used us a stepping stone. we have plenty of dribblers - rosicky, cazorla, walcott etc. what we don't have anymore is someone who can change gear and run at defenders at pace and take them on - like Henry, Overmars, Pires and Ox used too.GranadaJoe wrote:I know we've plenty of problem positions (gk, dm, st, dc) but imo we do need wide players with pace (we've become a very slow side) but who can actually dribble. .
look at forehead and hleb - could dribble at a snails pace all day and keep getting blocked off.

The guardian reporting that Real are back in for Suarez. Spending the Benzema money?

You do know that kicking the ball ahead of you and then running after it like some demented fool doesn't class as dribbling right ?

Anyway for all you guys who think that flamoney is the answer to our DM needs can I just say no ? He isn't big or physical enough no matter how much he tries and I do not want us to sign him under any circumstances unless he was signed as a back DM to fellaini or somebody like him. Sadly this has all the appearance of a 4 signing transfer window - sonogo, flamoney, Williams and some other player in the 10m-15m price bracket

Stop press! stop press!
Ambitious footballer uses club as stepping stone before moving to a bigger club!
You do know that without footballers using clubs as stepping stones in their career, we (or any top club) would not have had the vast majority of world class players they've had

You can't expect talented footballers not to use clubs as stepping stones in their careers. They have ambitions. What do you expect?

I like di Maria, Capel is a decent player, Tom Ince might be worth a shot. Theo did Ok last year but nobody else looked good.
The lad Ince is a gooner too

He may be exactly where he deserves to be but he is streets ahead of anybody we can field in the DM position, can't disagree that he is an enormous lady part thoughRosie_titters wrote:cheers chaps letting me know Lass Diarra has gone to Lokomotive Moscow,![]()
such a waste of a talented player
Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
We were about to flog him off to Birmingham as well. He had every right to fuck us over. On top of all that we didn't offer him a new contract until it was too late. Milan valued him higher than we did and he's half-Italian and a Milan fan, a no-brainer decision for him.BFG4 wrote:Disagree completely, as far as i know, before he had his breakthrough season, he wanted a new contract, and was told he would have to earn it.
