My Dad went on a Legends Tour today with Perry Groves. He's very much a sit on the fence sort of bloke in that he'll express disappointment at Wenger but still hold the board equally/more accountable. He said that Perry Groves was really animated and gave an honest opinion on everything (most of which aren't out of kilter with most on here).

In general terms he said the tour was okay but Perry Groves was a top bloke and not only waxed lyrical during the tour but also caught the Tube with him back to King's Cross and chatted keenly the whole way. Think my old man has a new best friend

Those points I've bolded are not things that he should be proud of and gloating about. But then again this is the man that constantly declares qualifying for the Champions League 17 years in a row is the best achievement since being Invincible, despite having a record of 1 final in 17 years, and not winning it.
