More than the bullshit regarding signing players ,it was his loaning out of Djourou and Coq when he knew that we have zero cover for Arteta in DM and none for CB with vermaelen out that really pissed me off !

The loss against Villa was entirely predictable ,they soaked us up ran us down channels then hit us at pace ,its not rocket science !

So his coaching plan will not work on enough people for us win anything ................No change there
His transfer strategy is a joke ..............No change there
He wont pay the going rate for quality players ..........No change there

There you go then, we've all been brainwashed by the media. That's why there is so much discontent among Arsenal fans, simple obviously

Wenger said: "The media in general has brainwashed a little bit the Emirates. Maybe rightly so, I don't know, because we haven't won trophies for years everything is negative. But we have to live with that and focus on playing well football.

"We lost one game since the beginning of March. That's why it was a shock. But we won in the Champions League at Bayern Munich. We won at Fenerbahce. It is just like that at the moment."

At least he is acknowledging the fact we haven't won a trophy in years, although he does seem to just shrug it off as if it's an insignificant matter. He then mentions the golden nuggets of losing only one game since March and beating Bayern Munich, failing to realise that when we started that glorious unbeaten run at the end of the season (March) we were already well and truly out of the title race (if we were ever in it!), and when we beat Bayern Munich we had already been destroyed by them at home, and would never have won the tournament anyway.

Those points I've bolded are not things that he should be proud of and gloating about. But then again this is the man that constantly declares qualifying for the Champions League 17 years in a row is the best achievement since being Invincible, despite having a record of 1 final in 17 years, and not winning it. :cussing:
The man is a nutcase, coming out with increasingly bizarre statements by the day & looking to blame everyone around him but himself. Nothing could possibly be your fault could it Arsene.

And what an arrogant, condescending way to speak to the fans, the people who pay your wages. To suggest that they are incapable of thinking for themselves? Please just fuck off now, you are an embarassment.

Agreed 100% The arrogance and all these ridiculous statements are the main reasons why I hate the guy so much. Add all that that have been said before here thousands of times and there you go!

My face is all red because of statements like this. What an arrogance. First, who has brainwashed whom in the first place? Who started the summer with media coverage all over about how much money we have and how big we're gonna spend during the summer. There were Gazidis and Wenger telling the media how we are going for big name signings during the summer and how we're gonna spend and how we're gonna be big club like Bayern and :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah: ... If this is not brainwashing, I really don't know what is. Most of the media and even fans got into this bullshit, even if we've been hearing this kind of stories before. So again, is this brainwashing or not? I think it is.

And now he has balls to accuse the media when they rightfully and quite nicely though question his actions and promises which he and Gazidis said earlier in the first place. Even if we know wenker, I still thought that his arrogance would have some kind of limits but no. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's actually at the point where I am embarassed to have him fronting our club. I cringe every time he's put out in front of the media, what bizarre lunatic statement will he make next? Who will he look to shift the blame on to this time? Making us a laughing stock...

Is it really that hard to just make an honest, humble statement? Something along the lines of "We've fallen short in the title race in recent years, I want to make the best possible use of our resources to bring in the quality players we need to challenge for the top spot again"...

Instead we get these bizarre, crytpic messages and sweeping statements that a further weakened version of the squad that scraped 4th on the last day of the season can be title challengers "with or without" signings. :? And that all our failings are down to a media conspiracy, "special circumstances", refs not having "the right spirit", hostility at AG. How about you have a look at why the crowd might be hostile? Imbecile.

Are you sure you haven't been brainwashed by a man with a megaphone mate?

Is there any way to tell if I've been brainwashed? Getting all paranoid now.

Couldn't agree more. The man is deluded on a grand scale. The excuses that are used by him, as to why there is a hostile atmosphere, just show how out of touch from reality he is. I mean honestly, blaming the media for his own shortcomings and yet again treating us fans like simpletons and with a total lack of respect, it's sickening.

The man needs to go.

Ha! I love this photo of Wenger, it's like "Sh*t! The window closes in a couple of days, and I have no idea what I'm doing!"

For some reasons Bayern played their worst game of the entire season (Bundesliga, DFP Cup, CL) at the home game against Arsenal. Wenger should not put too much in it, if Arsenal would have been good that day they would have eliminated Bayern out of the competition, overall they lost!

They won because Bayern wasn't 100% focused on the game as they walked over Arsenal at the Emirates. Arsenal was knocked out and end of the story.

"Wenger on his transfer market approach", oh this should be good

Ideally I would rather have the squad in place at the start of the season and I am a big fan to cancel the transfer window at the start of the season anyway.
Wenger agrees that 'marquee signings' have a role to play at a football club - but he says that spirit and values are even more important.
The Champions League is, of course, the needed requirement for the top players
:coffeespit: Bullshit bingo. You couldn't make this up.

No they won because bayern lack a little sharpness and maybe played a bit with the handbrake on - as well as that, if you factor in that the game wasnt refereed in the right spirit then you would agree that bayern never stood a chance of winning that game

It's funny that it is only our players that suffer from a lack of sharpness/handbrake on/little bit jaded
