Red Membership help?

Post by buckle14 »

Hi,

Thought this might be a good place to ask, seeing as the Box Office is closed right now. I've joined as a red member for this season, and infact for the first time, whereas in the past I've just got my tickets through friends and family etc.

If I were to purchase a ticket for an upcoming home game, such as the Spuds game (via ticket exchange) - would I use my membership card to gain entry to the stadium? Or would I get a paper ticket sent to me? The reason I ask this is because my membership card is being posted to another address (my uni house), which I won't be going back to for at least another month, therefore I will not have access to the card.

If it is infact the card you use to gain entry to the stadium, is there any other alternative mode of entry to the stadium as I won't have my card?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Buckle14

Hi

Your card is activated for the game. They advise not to purchase tickets until you receive it. Can you not get some to post it to you from your uni house?

You need to read the ticket info for each game on the AFC home page, there is usually a cut off point after which they will send you paper tickets - normally 7-10 days before the game.

When buying online, you can also tell if you'll be sent a paper ticket when you get to the checkout/payment stage, because they add on a bunch of extra fees for paper tickets and delivery. :banghead:

When my brother and I traveled last year he had not recieved his membership card yet. We went to the box office right when it opened on game day with ticket confirmation and the credit card i used to buy them with and they printed us paper tickets. Easy peasey
