SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Did you stitch those Ewok costumes together Stitch Bitch?
No, if you check out the Ewok hats, you'll notice that the overlock stitch-work is showing. If that were me, the stitches would be hidden. :proudtosay:

This window can't end soon enough - utterly bizarre approach by Arsenal, and even now - with 5 days remaining - I still haven't a clue who we'll sign other than underwhelming additions like Flamini and Cabaye.

Surely they've lined up a striker better than Higuain though??? - haven't they?

Believe

Even if that did ever happen - which of course it NEVER EVER will - wenger would probably play him goal!

And he'd still be better than Almunia (what was Wenger thinking? )...

Even without Bale Spurs are really starting to scare me. They have bought some terrific players and for the right fees. There squad is better than ours IMO.

Why in gods name are we not buying as Wagner said they are working 24 hrs a day Spuds lose out on William week later they buy Lamela .

Either we are being sold down the road or we have a bunch of complete amateur bunch of wankers working at The Arsène FC . :banghead:

Heads have to roll surely this is total negligence of the club not fair on either the fans who pay good money or the players who will get booed because of this bizare strategy.

Lamela and Erickssen are going to improve Spurs massively, two players I have rated for a while. The latter had a dissapointing last season but the lad has so much potential. Lamela... well, let me just say he is VERY reminiscent of Draxler, you will see...

Stunning window for a non-CL club, funded by the Welsh chimp.

Think this is the kiss of death for our top 4 hopes, sadly.

Lamela, Soldado, Erickssen, Paulinho, Capoue would all walk into our first team, with ease. Not to mention Vertonghen, Lloris, and Walker (better then Jenkinson).

If that had been our window I would have been over the moon. In fact, i'd have taken it over Suarez + Williams.
