SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If the price for signing nobody is a 7th place finish and the Turnip gone in May '14 then sign me up for it now.

This. Finishing below fourth and getting rid of the dictator is an infinitely more satisfying reward then a vanity signing and the chance of him signing a new contract.

its all very well saying we hope it all goes wrong and we dont sign anyone...apart from one thing. no one in the club wants rid of him. the fans might grumble but unless theres a real shit storm he aint going nowhere.

i would accept that the board have had nothing to do with this latest debacle but really that direction must be supported at the very top.

So much for the be all and end all of finishing 4th eh? Yes the majority of the cash they are throwing about is from the Bale deal but even yesterday AVB said there will be further arrivals in the coming days.

Contrast that to Le Gimp when asked on ITV the other night what was happening -

"I don't know what to say anymore"

Well do you know what? Neither the fcuk do I. :banghead:

Arsene Clouseau has just got the trolley out of the garage, blown off the dust and is now oiling the wheels. It's getting exciting folks.

Perfect Wenger signing. Young, French, unheard of, name looks like a game of scrabble gone wrong...

And reported first by L'Equipe! There could not be a more Wenger-esque signing!

I can't believe people still think Wanger is going to buy the likes of Michu and Cabye!! That would take 40 odd million!!

Guys - Wanger is NOT going to spend that kind of money, never, ever, in a million years. He will buy three French players from the likes of St Etienne, Caen and Rennes, all for between 5 and 10m. He just doesn't care enough about winning, money is Wanger's primary concern in everything he does. His choice, his way, his arrogant way.

We are fucked, utterly and completely.

You know what this feels like? It feels like we've promised to throw the world's most wicked house party, only it's 11 PM now and no one has shown up. We told all of our mates that it starts at 9 but it seems as though everyone has fucked off to the other party down the road at that prick from school's house.

Turn off the music, DB10. We might as well start eating the Quavers and mini sausage rolls. No one's coming, are they?
