THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

North London rivals Tottenham have splashed £60m on new players, but Wenger suggested their quality and positions meant they were not considered for Arsenal.

‘They have bought players in areas that we do not need,’ he said.

What the fuck! Really? Ok then, so we wouldn't have any use for those players that they've bought or about to bring to the squad.

Somebody should start collecting these phrases from Wanker. It could turn out as a best selling book called "The most stupid and mentally ill phrases ever". Embarrasing really. Why the fuck the guy can't just shut the fuck up. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

You should note that Spurs have spent another £35m since that statement was made.

Truly...Arsene Wenger is a cancer within our football club, and like all cancer, either it kills you, or you kill it. AFC's recovery as a club will begin when wenger is gone. It really is a case of put the head down and bare it till then!

I wish someone would pull him up about these types of quotes! They have bought an effecive looking striker (we tried to sign Suarez and Higuain, so clearly need a player in this area), a tough looking defensive midfielder (one that Wenger admired, also a position we looked to try fill with the aquisition of Bender), a winger (Di Maria) and a central defender.

Really Wenger?? These aren't areas that we don't need players for!? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I hate this man so much!

can I just say thanks to all those of you with far greater tech skills than me (me being old fart that can only use PC for basic stuff) for the funny stuff, like Arsene's zip.
God knows we need it with OGL running the circus. I even found myself wishing we had Levy as chairman for 15 mins, just so that he could put a rocket under Wenger. I'm just laughing manically now at what's (not) going on.

You WILL spend the money. It is not your own money, it belongs to the club. You will buy proven quality and you will improve the team. You will then NOT sign a new contract and you WILL walk away from the club next summer.

Three, two, one... You're back in the room.
