THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

With Podolski out indefinitely and Sanogo utter shite we face a scenario where Bendtner could be our striker if Giroud gets injured.

Straight up it might be a good idea, Rodders. Because I get the feeling if people go totally OTT on here the place might get shut down end of. :?

For everyone that wants this idiot gone, what he is doing now is tilting everyone who were AKB's on to the dark side. I mean Bendtner followed by the quotes of the prices not being realistic? The quotes are enough to push more people over the edge. He is signing his own death warrant.

I have to say that I am starting to distance myself from this club even though I don't want to. I can only laugh even though I paid up this year thinking that it would be different as well because if this is the extent of our ambition, we haven't a chance at top 4.

This x100000.

Was speaking to a buddy last night and said the exact same thing. We are rapidly approaching the end game, au revoir.

I wish! But in all honesty if he panic buys some African teenager, a journeyman from Ligue 2 and that bloke from Palace no one else wants on the last day of the window then the AKB (and more importantly) the Board will be placated that he has "strengthened" and indeed not "wasted" any of the clubs lovely money.

Wenger will leave when Wenger wants to leave. :(

I hope so because I cannot take this much longer. Things that should be straightforward, like fully backing the team, have become complicated.

The same as all of us here, I love ArsenaI and want Arsenal to win every game they play. But I now hate Wenger so much that I want Wenger to lose every game he manages

This is obviously a massive problem and a huge conflict of interests when Wenger is the manager of Arsenal

Because of this, I cannot enjoy or celebrate an Arsenal win the way I want to or the way I used to as it means that smug, self-serving hypocrite is winning too.

And also I cannot celebrate or enjoy a Wenger defeat as much as I'd like to because it means an Arsenal loss.

So what happens? I've ended up in a pretty meaningless existence somewhere in-between two extreme positions where I cannot hate what I hate or love what I love.

Supporting Arsenal used to be (and still should be) so much fucking simpler than this.

I hope so mate, Wonga has ruined football for me. I just want a de-Arsenization from Arsenal and the Emirates, the whole firm stinks of his ways.

This is an article written by an absoloute muppet. The whole point of his argument is that we should stop being negative. I may not agree with AKB'S , but i am willing to listen to anyone, who has a viewpoint, and reasons to back it up, this article has nothing of the sort. If this guy thinks that everyone is negative on here, wait until Monday :)

May I just throw this curve ball theory at you all.
Wenger is mighty pissed because the board wont sanction his contract renewal.
The board know if they do, hoards of fans with flaming torches will be marching down Holloway Rd.
So Wenger is playing brinkmanship by leaving deals until the last day.
