There is no escape this season. Even the last of the die hard fans will surely see this as the end of the damaging Kronk and his willing sidekick Wenger.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
This summer - albeit it a few years too late - Wenger could have made the signings without the spectre of impending key player departure or major tournament or indeed any other distractions whatsoever, with a huge pile of money to spend. Even his staunchest supporters have acknowledged by and large that there aren't any excuses for this window and when Wenger beams at his double digit profit on Sept 3rd the rest of us will have to contemplate another season wasted before it's even got going.
People like Ferguson and Dalglish instituted "us against them" tactics to differing success but Wenger's only interested in "me against them". His pride and arrogance mean that he's only interested in sticking the fingers up to his critics often at the detriment of the club's greater interests, and he's even made it clear he doesn't give a shit about keeping fans on side as any discontent is brushed off as brainwashing or not having the requisite three decades experience.
The only consolation is that he's slowly signing his own death warrant because while the board would never sack him, the uproar amongst a huge portion of the fans should he be given a new deal would be massive and both Wenger and the board know that, so for the first time I'm saying with some confidence that he'll 'decide' to leave at the end of this season.

There are so many signs that we need to strengthen yet they do nothing.
They've had all summer and now the CL draw blatantly screams that we need to buy, but the what can only be described as 'brain-dead' people who run our club still do nothing.
As long as the current board and Wenger are there together, we'll never compete or win anything.
Preferably both should go, but one or the other departing would be a step in the right direction.

John Cross yesterday- "Money has been there, the ambition is there, the players have been lined up. But, ultimately, Wenger has the final say, the only say".Midz wrote:There are so many signs that we need to strengthen yet they do nothing.

The board going and Wenger staying will change nothing. Do you really think he would spend Usmanovs money and indulge in the "financial doping" he so despises? Wenger will change for no-one, ever. His departure is the ONLY solution.

WHAT
THE
FAAARK
!!!!!!
Kalou and Flamini and Sanogo?!?!
Surely he resigns - has he no self awareness or respect??
Best case - Torres, Kaka (and then we DO need a DM) and I dunno - someone else.

If Torres and Kaka is the best case scenario then you know things have gone to shite.
Both over the hill and past it, like our manager.

Ignore him - just point to the respective honours lists where they have some of the most embarassing claims of success I have ever seen (think leyland dat trophy and then go about 10 divisions below that

no doubt this coySCUM fan will be bringing out a DVD of his posts very soon!
I'm sure some of you have seen the initial interview with this Gooner on ArsenalFanTV...
and this is a good follow up.
I would absolutely LOVE to see this guy in a one to one Jeremy Paxman style interview with Gazidis and watch the gazidis (aka: sneaky slimey shyte) squirm...as this guy fired the questions at him one after the other...

Remember Gooners NO PINTS - NO PIES - NO PROGRAMMES
