I wouldn't worry Swifty. You'll wake up to the same amount of signings when it does actually close.

We've signed as many players today mate as we have in the rest of the entire transfer window barring 2 daysaugie wrote:Well how many players have we signed so far today ? Had a small bit of a lie in this morning so would appreciate it if one of you guys could give me a brief summary of our business so far today cos I haven't got all day to read the stories in detai
He's a good player mate, I'd be happy for him to join us. However I hope it's not out only signing!!SteveO 35 wrote:http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/footba ... han-Cabaye
You just know this one will happen. £15m+ on a useless piece of French shite. Pardew seemed resigned to the fact he was leaving yesterday. Yohan Fucking Cabaye - jesus wept. This is what its come to.....
So basically, it's only the price tag that separates Sanogo from players like Higuain, and we shouldn't be so obsessed by the price tag. Fair enough."We have signed Sanogo. He has not made the headlines. Why? Because he is not 50-100 million pounds."
Straight from the horses mouth. Sanogo is top class."He will not surprise me because my expectation level is very high. He is a top class striker."

I wanted a top class striker, and although I wanted a Higuain or Suarez, Wenger quite rightly said...

Remember, Wenger is blind to price tags... which presumably means he goes for the best player available, regardless of price. It just so happens, the best players on the market this summer are available for FREE!![]()
In any case, Sanogo IS top class according to Wenger...

We should be delighted that we have a manager who is able to pluck a top class striker out of the arms of retiring to be a postman, so he can score the goals expected of a top class striker.
And whilst Sp*rs spunked £26m on Soldado, and Napoli wasted £34m on Higuain, and Monaco and PSG spent silly money on Cavani and Falcao, we got a top class striker FOR FREE!!!! - and we complain? crazy.![]()
I'm sure I could write a similar post for our amazing top quality FREE transfer midfielder, Flamini.![]()
Top, top quality signed in 2 key positions, and not a penny spent! - I am one content, smug Gooner!

I don't have an opinion on him yet, as I've just not seen enough of him.SteveO 35 wrote:I can't believe anybody would be happy signing Cabaye (apart from Mike Ashley who is about to receive a bank balance boost by offloading Joe Average)
