SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That Geoff Arsenal on twatter who I suspect is a club plant leaks the conveniently timed information that we are close to signing a ''top to quality'' German international.

Great a reserve keeper and an average midfielder

Meanwhile its Le Chapman as first choice striker, Podolski out for 10 weeks, Chamakh sold, Sanogo fresh from his morning deliveries......so where does that leave us if the hod carrier gets an injury on the building site? Oh of course Walcott as first choice striker with The King of Denmark as back up, plus Akpom and the latest list of 'never will be strikers' from our first class academy

ONE ARSENE WENGER......THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

Dun worry, according to the "reliable" Geoff on twitter, we are about to make a "top top quality" German player that we will be delighted with. I am so happy that Beckenbauer has decided to come out of retirement and play for us.

Long live Arsene Wenger. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Yeah win over Spuds surely proved Wenger's point, buying does not bring success.

I think the only thing Wenger will buy tomorrow are new shoes. If they will be on sale. Or loan. Or free from a cousin.
