The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Odd. Cazorla is our best playmaker and he is the type of the player that Sp*rs are missing. Hopefully Eriksen will not fill that void 8)

They take our best player, and refused to sell us players, but sell players to our rivals. This is a clear attempt to keep us out of the top 4, so they can use spurs as a also run team to train players for them. If we got in the top 4 they would not have got to sign Bale or any other player. We also need to change the Chairman of Spurs, need one with a large set of balls to stand p for all things spurs, standup to players who act like 5 year old children and do what all parents do and give the child a time out. On loan to a non league team in north Wales would hone had Bale turn up to training and begging to play for Spurs".

The Scum thread.

I hope that I don't get banned for this, and I know that I mentioned this in the Stoke City home thread and got a bit caned down. But I am quite concerned how well the scum have started the season! They are not conceding, and are starting to score more in open play. The fuckers have bought well thanks to the Chimp cash!

Jesus I'm sure there's another dedicated thread on this somewhere, and whilst it's natural to have an interest in them (whether they're flying or doing shite) this is seriously small-time if it isn't a wind-up.

They ain't going nowhere as long as they're selling the likes of Bale and spending the money on average players. Players like Chadli and Capoue are squad men at best, Soldado is worth half what they paid for him at best based on his showing so far, and although Paulinho looks decent and Eriksen is supposedly talented if they become quality they'll be sold and the cycle will start again. There's an obvious glass ceiling dangling right above their heads and if we're scrapping around with them again this season it ain't gonna be at the top.

FFS their forward line has been Townsend - Soldado - Chadli. Why the fuck should we worry about that? They may have depth but not quality in depth and not even real quality in their starting line-up, and without Bale they don't have any players who will win them games consistently.

And I don't think an improvement on their 0 goals from open play in their first 3 fixtures is exactly grounds for concern either  Their performance against us was their worst in a long time and scraping unimpressively past a few mid-table/relegation candidates - where are you getting these concerns from???

EDIT: And this is after some posters talking Liverpool up as real title contenders after the first few games
