He's off the bottle I think.QuartzGooner wrote:What a difference a year makes!
Definitely more committed and quicker too - as we saw with that run along the touchline.
To be fair Jenks and Olly look fitter as well. Maybe all three worked really hard in the summer ?

I slated this guy last season but hold my hands up and say hes improved alot so far this season, hope he keeps he keeps it up,his 1st goal yesterday was an excellent finish.
Re: Aaron Ramsey - statistics and form etc.
when I joined the forum back in November I couldn't believe the slaggings Rambo was getting,im so pleased that he's bounced back and is now showing his true potential,on current form he'd walk into any team in the EPL team

Well, I do love being proved wrong. Fair play to Ramsey, shows what I know eh?
Re: Aaron Ramsey - statistics and form etc.
Yep, if only they'd got their hands on him back in 2008 eh......maybe they'd have won all those trophies we've walked off with since then.
Jesus - the lad has had half a dozen good games after 4 years of fuck all
Great to see him doing well but hardly 'lets all laugh at United' material

The laughing smilies are intended at them for jumping the gun and announcing the signing a player on their official website before it has materialized.SteveO 35 wrote:Yep, if only they'd got their hands on him back in 2008 eh......maybe they'd have won all those trophies we've walked off with since then.

Re: Aaron Ramsey - statistics and form etc.
As I said on another thread there have been so many false dawns with Rambo I'll hold off the wankfest until I see him play like this for a whole season. At the moment he is doing brilliant and I'm delighted for him (and us!) but I just have this niggling doubt he'll sustain that level. Hope I'm wrong...

Tbh I can't remember too many false dawns. He was alright, then he got injured, then he was total shit, then he got a bit better last season and now he's improved again at the start of this season. A more or less steady upward progressionDB10GOONER wrote:As I said on another thread there have been so many false dawns with Rambo I'll hold off the wankfest until I see him play like this for a whole season. Re: Aaron Ramsey - statistics and form etc.
I suppose I was more refering to people on here (and in the media) that hailed him as the second coming after a good game (as a lot of them used to do with Song) and then he'd be shit again, then have one good game and be hailed as Messi MkII and then another shit game or 3...LDB wrote:Tbh I can't remember too many false dawns.
