The German gravy train toot toot

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Löw is crap!! Why do you want him? Because Germany with all those great players plays some nice football against shit teams? He has one of the best teams in the world so getting into a semi-final isn't actually better than you'd expect right?
Imo he's completely unproven. He has done fuck all at club level and not that much more with Germany. Oh and you can add that he's a complete arsehole. Most german fans I know want him gone asap.

Klopp though is really a super quality coach  8)

I wouldn't want him just because of this.

It's a question of which country produces enough young players with high quality at the moment. Those are of course Spain and Germany at the moment.

France was years ago very producive, but their top player production in quantaties died away years ago. Wonder why wenker hasn't noticed that though...

Oh, and yes please, more Germans in. They bring discipline, good sense of team play, top skills and all that!

It's as much to do with attitude as anything . Germans are hard working professionals with good technical ability drummed in at an early age . The English nowadays have the spines of jellyfish lack moral fibre and think they are better than others because of the size of their wage cheque .

Agree with this 100% but I would add that jellyfish spine comments refers to most of our aignings regardless of nationality and mentally weak players is something that wenger seems to have a magnetism that draws him to at all times

I know that sammy started this thread as a defence of the whole gotze saga but tbh I dont remember him talking up our intention of plundering the whole german market at that time - what I remember, and I could be wrong of course, is a guy who stated with absolute certainty that we would be signing one specific german player rather than a few german players. I can understand sammy's wish to make a defence of his comments at that time cos, in my opinion, some of the slating he got over the gotze thing went a bit ott

Augie's got a point, a bit of historical revision's going on.

One thing I should say is that Germans don't do gravy well so the thought of a gravy train existing leaves me with a chill.

I heard a rumour that the Germans are creating a little bit of ill feeling in the dressing room.

Something to do with beach towels.
