Marseille away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Was it a penalty? Didn't look like one to me, Ramsey got the ball first and the frog dived.

Unlucky Surrey! Rambo got a toe to the ball first! My advice? Bet on both teams to score in all Arsenal games. Can't fail over the course of a season!

Thought the pen was harsh. Rambo got the ball.

The amount of penalties we are giving away is bloody ridiculous and a definite cause for concern.

Didn't see the whole game, did we escape injury-free?

Thanks. I thought so but wasn't sure if I was being biased. I only saw it once

Shaky early doors but other than that a good away European performance. Could have been more clinical on the break but I always felt we were going to create enough clear-cut chances on the break and it was just a case of sticking one or two away.

I still harbour quite a lot of personal resentment towards Flamini and he's not the player he was but his decision-making in terms of being willing to let opponents have the ball and sitting deep instead of chasing around is reassuring. We look a lot more comfortable with the tactics we're playing than we have for a long time. That said a lot of it imo is down to Giroud actually showing for and holding the ball up, and if he suffers a dip in form or an injury then it'll knock us right back.
