What the fuck is this? Congrats to the tiny totts, first team ever to win the league before the end of September
Load of bollocks. Remember two years back when everyone was banging on about them being title contenders? They were second in Feb and ended up finishing 4th behind us. Close this down.

No keep it open, they love to shoot themselves in the foot
Tottenham had a better team than they currently do a couple of years back when they had Modric, VDV, Bale, Lennon, 'player of the year' Parker, Ledley King, an Adebayor playing for a contract and they still couldn't finish above us, and we were a one man team then with the Judas.
Kind fixture list, followed by a few handy ref decisions and yes I know we all get them but they should have drawn at Palace,Norwcich didn't turn up because Hughton is a negative ex-scum w**ker of a manager, Cardiff would have won on Sunday if Odemwingie wasn't sh*te and if the ref had rightly sent of sweeper-calamity keeper Lloris. The way he fles out of his penalty area to make up for his team f**king up the offside traps again and again he will get found out soon enough.
Tonight at 1nil, Villa are scandalously denied a penalty and let's face it, Spurs have faced one decent team this season and we all know how that ended up again.
Anyone that refuses to acknowledge that - despite the sale of Bale - the spuds have a strong squad and will be up there seriously challenging us for a top 4 place, is either being naive or just plain stupid out of some sense of club loyalty. I remember how people were quick to dismiss Chelsea's chances a few years back despite the obvious improvement of their squad. Now I'm not saying we should be sitting here shitting ourselves (although such is the fear of them over-taking us some of us will do so anyway ); just that we should stop pretending that because they've failed to supersede us in the recent past, then it means it is impossible for them to do so in the future.
Have to say I think their squad depth is impressive, when you look at the team they put out in the cup tonight compared to the team we will have out. having said that, any talk of them winning the league is laughable. (as is it is for us sadly)
Still think our first team is better though. It will be close between us again this year-as it has been last couple of seasons.
Pretty sure we'll finish above them though-we always do!

Look at our injury list and then look at theirs. Enough said.
True enough. we do have a ridiculous number of wide players out injured.
Doesn't excuse the lack of cover in central defence or stikers position though.
As I say, still think we'll finish above them. Can't see us finishing higher than 4th though
hopefully we'll belatedly strenghten in January and fingers crossed we can manage to keep performing well until then and at least be in the title hunt after November!

At a quick glance I don't see anybody saying they're incapable of finishing 4th but given where they've been last 3 seasons why would this be the one where suddenly we're worried? If people are being dismissive it's probably in response to a pretty ridiculous original post.
They have got more depth to their squad but packing your squad chocca with decent players is no substitute for genuine quality. As I said their forward line at times this year - including against us - was Chadli, Soldado and Townsend Let's face it, who would you be scared of in their squad? Although I don't expect there to be too much between the sides again this year I would definitely put Cazorla and Ozil into the matchwinner bracket.
I remember some arguing that it would take the scum finishing above us for the AKB's to see the light and want wenker out - along with the rest of the sensible Gooners - Since Ozil's signing - many seem to have forgiven wenker - I have to say I haven't...BUT now having played a very crafty little hand wenker has - by buying Ozil - secured his new contract and future with the club - should he choose to stay on - even if the scum were to finish above us this season, wenker would simply point to the purchase of Ozil for £42million+ and say that he did buy a world class player and so just buying doesn't guarantee success...etc
The scum have no class...that IS the vital difference - Arsenal have - and though it has taken a few dents due to the way the club is being run as a money making machine ( for profit before all else) rather than a football club (to win trophies), we "The Arsenal" still have a certain amount of clout in the Class arena due to how long that Class has been at the heart of the club.

You seem mightily interested in them for a gooner. Interesting that you use one of the few players to move down the seven sisters road as a user name.
Or am I just being cynical?.....
Thanks for merging the post and apologies that I am getting forgetful in my old age!
You are indeed being Cynical, I am just making a point about how nervous I am getting because the Scum are looking a tad threatening. I work with several Spuds and they are getting on my bloody nerves with their loud mouths.
I just hope that their wheels come off and I can then shove it back down their throats. Your other point about my user name. Willy Young was a cult hero at Highbury (along with the man that used to sell "Percy Dalton's" peanuts in the middle of the North Bank), that is why I chose it.

Good job you cleared that up JK/HashK might've thought you were on here trawling as a youngster with a willy!
