As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wow. Just... wow.
I'm actually embarrassed for you.
Can we at least let him stick around for his second post just to hear the words "Be Careful What You Wish For"
Which part of Block 2 do you sit in Jules ?
Or Dad is that you?

1) Wenger signed Flamini back this summer.
2) Cesc is doing very well in Barcelona. I don't think moving to Barca was a "mistake."
1. I did say not often, Im thinking furthur back as well- why for example didnt Viera return, breaks my heart that hes there at Citeh, what a great asset he would be for us now. I know henry did return briefly too
2. Cesc keeps being rotated round, hes gone from first choice on the sheet to a rotation player. It amazed me he wasnt a starter for Spain in the World Cup final, I know they have tons of top players, but still was surprised.
Why the rumours about him transferring to Manure in the Summer- since alleged not to be true, but no smoke without fire.
Even if he'd have been stupid enough to sign one, I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to enforce a clause like that for an unlimited period of time.
Im pretty sure these clauses are signed, I think Bales rumoured to have signed one. Sure its not enforcable for an unlimited time, but rumours of a transfer to Manure 2 years after moving to Barca sure upset me.
I think one of the things we might have to accept about Cesc is that whilst with us he was our best player by a long shot, but at Barca he has been shown not to be at the same level as Xavi, Iniesta and Messi. So he won't necessarily be first choice until one or more of them are gone. But still, he will win major trophies at his home town club so hardly a bad move for him. Of course it won't happen but I would love to see him back with us. Ozil and Fabregas in the same midfield? Magic.
You can add Lehman and Campbell to list of re-signed players alongside Flamini and Thierry.
Also Xavi is what 33/34? so Cesc will be first choice pretty soon i'm sure. He will have known when moving that he was no longer going to be main man for his club and tbh has made over 60 appearances in two seasons-admittedly some as a sub. But has won silverware already so hardly a nightmare move for him.

You appear to take yourself quite seriously so i'm unsure if you'll fit in here. Besides which, do you really think Monsieur Wanger gives two shits for what some people on an internet forum think about him?

I agree with the rest of the post but I'm not sure that the highlighted part is accurate. I'm certain even Cesc wasn't expecting to get straight into the Barca starting 11 ahead of guys that had been so effective in the recent past and were still producing, but he has played more than his fair share of games - sometimes in place of one of them - and contributed a lot in terms of goals and assists even when used in other positions. With Xavi appearing to be on his last legs I think it won't be long before Cesc has permanent possession of one of the central midfield positions, just as Fabregas probably expected when he signed.

You will enjoy yourself on here, as you defend your hero day in, day out from negativity. When a post is made criticising Wanger, you will turn away in disgust singing THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER, and as your frustration grows, you will need to visit the club website to hear about our mental strength from the wise one to calm you down
I could do with one or two of you good folks coming onto the Guardian site to fight the good fight against some real AKB numpties on there who are one stage short of booking an open top bus.
The worst thing is the intolerance these clowns have for anyone who dares question their beloved Arsene and anything he has ever done. One had to be put in his place this morning.
For the record, I'm pretty happy with a lot of things we have done since the Villa game, but we have an unbalanced squad, and still lack the intensity to play at a furious tempo for 90 minutes. I also question the medical attention a lot of the players have and tactically Wenger is a nightmare, doing his best to blow games like the NLD by removing the threats to the oppositions back 4 and enable full backs to fly at us at will.
I'd have fired Wenger 4 years ago, but we have him and have to live with him. So let us hope he stops seeing 4th place as a prize and attacks first, because there is no team out there that is all that good.
