West Brom Away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I can see the continued use of "handbrake-y" or "handbrake-ish" here with possible CL hangover.

I agree with the majority that resting too many players would be risky, especially Giroud. Gnabry should get the nod over Rosicky, too. Rozz has proven a great assessent from the bench in recent times, and as he's making his way to being fully fit, I can't see the justification in starting him and expecting him to play 60-70 mins after Tuesday.

I hope we take a big 3-0 lead at the half and then can take off Giroud for the final 20-30 mins, but we'll see. We can't risk dropping points away to WBA. Would love to see us score a lot of goals, but I think it'll be 2-1 to the Arsenal.

Looking forward to this. My first trip to The Hawthorns! Thank goodness the trains from London are looking good. :barscarf:

I wouldn't rest players even if we were playing home to Palace. We need to keep this run going as long as possible because we're showing more confidence and less inhibition than in a long time and I think the first real setback will change that massively. Besides, although it's a game we should win it's not one we tend to win too comfortably.

See a draw written all over this, also looked at all the results in the prem for September and think we will get the poisoned chalice that is joint player and manager of the month awards. :(
