THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

of course you are, if you were this summer then you always will be and your opinion on this thread will be practically invalid. we won't drop low enough to force action from the board but we will drift along , not winning trophies but playing pretty football to satisfy the mass support we seem to have collected since the last decade or so.

Surely it's a value judgement to say my opinion will be invalid. My opinion on a thread asking if one is for or against Arsene, is invalid simply because it is not the local 'norm'? That says more than I ever need to I think.

hmm... I'm sure you've previously criticised Wenger for doing just that, haven't you? :proudtosay: - or is it now an "admirable quality" because it's a thinly veiled dig at someone?

Surely it's immaterial whether you stick to or indeed change your opinion - what's important is the reason behind that decision and ensuring it's done because the evidence supports it, because I certainly wouldn't say it's an "admirable quality" to bury your head in the sand and stubbornly stick to an opinion despite a weight of evidence against it, would you? :?
