Two goals in two games, and seems to be getting more involved too. I wonder if being dropped from the England first team and possibly someone giving him a good talking too might have got him to buck his ideas up.

Hope he can keep this up, We must have the best midfield in the league at the moment.

He has been playing better though. Don't think he's hit full stride yet but hopefully if he stays fit he'll continue to improve as the season goes on.

I think there's a bit of friendly rivalry going on between Jack and Rambo. They're bringing the best out of each other and the biggest winner is - Arsenal FC.

Whilst I do rate Jack highly and think he has the potential to be an amazing player, I think I'd still agree that when the thread was started, Jack WAS over-rated, particularly by the media. Not a slight on Jack, but he was being spoken of as the next Ingerland captain and the best Ingerlish player since Spazza or Keegan... all on the basis of a couple of brief flashes of brilliance. He still hasn't delivered enough for me. He doesn't control games yet, he doesn't score enough, and too often his burst of pace gets him past one or two defenders and then he fucks it up by trying to go past the next couple and too often loses posession or falls over.

But he is still young and has had injury nightmares to overcome, and there are moments in his game of real genius and top top quality. We have to be patient and stick with him and see if he develops into a world beater.

Agreed. He is a good player at this level now and could be a great one in the near future, certainly streets better than the likes of Cleverley, Henderson etc. But if you cast your mind back to the post-Brazil match hype I think it's fair to say his impact and level of performances were being exaggerated, whereas now with Ramsey's form the column inches have filled themselves and people are being a lot more realistic towards where he's at and where he should be.

I don't think he's over rated anymore - i think his boom has settled back down to his actual level of competence. The fact that the team has the likes of Ozil, Ramsey, Cazorla and dare i say it - Giroud all doing well - means he no longer has the expectations of the club on his shoulders and everyone is a little more realistic about his level of contribution.
