As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
He came into my life one autumn day in the mid 90s. I had no idea what to expect. I was full of fear and hope at the same time. Since then I can honestly say he has given me some of the highest points of my life and some of the lowest. At times its been difficult. He is a stubborn so and so and seems to have the ability to push all the right buttons to wind me up on occasions. I hate it when he lies to me. But all those moments of pleasure more than make up for it. I think.
Let's hope that when he's at the Emirates tonight the team will give him the perfect birthday present. He's grown to love German football over recent years and would love it if his beloved Arsenal could beat probably his favourite German side with style.
Yes thanks for all the memories mate. I'll take them to my grave.
It got me Chippy. Started off thinking it was personal then mid-way through assumed it was in fact about Wenger - only to then be surprised by the punch-line at the end!!

Happy Birthday and many more to come.
Happy Birthday Chippy Jnr 18yo today 22/10/13.
Felt a little pull on my heart strings there Chippy and made me pause for thought, on my own kids, my 13 year old has and is growing up so fast, I cherish everything we do together, we where at a gala last Saturday and even though he didn't have the best of days, he still made me proud and has more balls than I ever had as a kid.
My other little lad will be 3 next month, when he was born, we thought our world had fallen apart when he was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome, but he has brought us more joy and happiness than we could ever have imagined.

Yeah but they grow up fast. he went to his first game with me when he was 5. Tonight he's going to the game with his mates and wouldn't want to be seen dead with the old man! So enjoy it while you can. Anyway I am taking him for his first (legal) pint in a pub on his way to the station.

Same with mine, final season at THOF and wanted him to be able to say he'd been to Highbury, 3-0 win over Charlton if I remember.
