As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We haven't had a better chance to win at Old Trafford in years. Their tired old shitty midfield has been exposed by the likes of West Brom and Southampton so we have no fucking excuse whatsoever but to go there and give a bloody good account of ourselves, in contrast to the abject surrender of the past few years there.
Think Sturridge and Suarez will expose us on the break in the way Dortmund did tonight

They are both very good players but I think we have been a lot better at not getting caught on the break this season. Dortmund's first goal was just a bad error from Ramsey, we weren't getting countered or outpassed and obviously sometimes players are going to make errors. The second goal to me looked to be Sagna's fault and I doubt we'd push so many forward in a league match unless we were trailing.
It's very easy to be pessimistic and say we'll lose just because it has happened so often over the last few seasons but I genuinely think Mertesacker and Koscielny done a good job today and I'd imagine Wenger will start with both Arteta and Flamini against United and Liverpool. The only thing that concerns me is going forward we have no pace so teams might find it easy to push up against us and keep the pressure on.

we lost at home and we have the highest ticket prices in Europe.
how many years, chances and pounds has Wenger had to avoid this ?
I've had enough. At the end of my tether. Wenger should've shut up shop, instead he leaves us too open and Dortmund nick the winner. The senile old clown has to go, should've gone after that debacle against Norwich at the weekend.

too right - we draw, it leaves us on 7pts, Napoli on 6 and BVB on 4pts.
probably meaning BVB needed to beat us in Dortmund. now we need to beat them.
i've not been in football for 30 years, but even i can figure out that a draw is a good result against your rivals for position.
if we can't hold Chelsea and City at home this year, and get beaten away by them both, he should step down.
Critical month ahead, really thought we'd have nabbed a point against Dortmund.
I'd settle for a draw again the Scouse, them and Chelski look to be our biggest rivals this year, I'd love us to win at Old Trafford, oh how times change.

Unless you kill us all, and our children, then of course we're going to come back. We're like the cockroaches - when the nuclear holocaust comes us cynics are going to be he only ones who survive.

Nothing as fickle as a football fan, mate!
But then again, let's say your wife gives you a couple of blowjobs, then nothing, no sucky sucky, for 7 months. Should you still be satisfied and content for that 7 months just because she blew you a couple of times at the beginning? Do you think Spudmasher was? REB can verify that not only was he unhappy but he also went through a terrible period of anyhole-itis (and that includes REB's holes, plural!).
Jaysus, I kind of lost the run of that metaphor...

I didn't know cockroaches were cynical!
thought they were crunchy things that kept wriggling and hissing after the bloke in the local chinese takeaway had cooked them!?

yep, you sort of lost it a bit there although tbh your metaphor is perhaps more realistic than you intended... 27 years years married and a BJ is certainly something worth waiting and being patient for
