Crystal Palace Away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't know why but I really dislike Palace. I think it's that crappy tinpot ground and the fact that the seem to get promoted every few years, do shit and get relegated straight away. I hope we thrash them.

Does anyone think Super Nik should get a start? No outfield Arsenal player has played more minutes in the league than Giroud this season so I think we should give him rest. Have him on the bench just in case we need him.
There's a guy in Sunderland who does :D

Back on Planet Earth however I don't believe anyone else does......
I'm not sure anyone on here has been more critical of BillyBigBollox than me, but if we accept that Giroud can't play every minute of every game, then surely Palace is the game to give him a rest and give Bendy an opportunity. After all, if he can't look brilliant against Palace he won't against anybody else.
Giroud will play on Saturday and Bendtner will get the nod against the Chavs in a makeshift squad against the Chavs in the week, hence squandering one of only 2 trophies we can win.

Im not sure they will have got things sorted by Sat, bounces usually happen once a new managers in post, all the players out to impress etc. Hopefully thats too early after Hollo ways leaving for that

I wouldnt mind seeing Bendy have a go, with Giroud on the bench, its too much to expect the best of anyone to shine in one game against The Chavs with little match play beforehand.

Hoping its 0-4 to us, with a Bendy hat trick :rubchin:

They'll play out of their skins to impress the new manager. 0-1.

New manager or not this is a good game to have after the Dortmund loss and at the start of a pivotal run.

dont want bendtner anywhere near the line-up, they wernt that bad against fulham first half, 2 wonder strikes got fulham out the shit, that said after the break they were awful.

start with the strongest eleven, get the game won then make changes.

oh and its BT sports free weekend for sky, virgin and freeview viewers.

As no manager has been appointed at for CRP, then it might be an idea to play the league cup team and rest the first team for the league cup game against the chavs as they will play a strong team as historically that's how jose approaches the this competition

Not sure the moaning one will play a full strength team because they play shitty 48hrs earlier, late Sunday kick off.

Barry up front supported by Santi,Tomas and Gnabry. Midfield 2 of Mathieu and Mikel. Back 4, only change should Carl for Sagna. Halftime if we are fucking around with the result, triple sub of the 3 musketeers Ozil,Rambo and Olivier. If we can't beat Palace with that lot, then we are f**ked for the season.

I think a lot has been made by the 'worst start than last season' in terms of pts by position. Yes we haven't got as many pts from teams in the bottom half but look how many pts we got from the top 4. I think it was 2 points out of 18. We can't possibly do that bad this season surely.
