As has been mentioned on other threads, the main reason there was so many empty seats was 'cos of people like me, stuck at railway stations unable to get a train in because of a fire near Waterloo station. The boozer I watched the game in was full of Season Ticket holders, just couldn't get into London. So no doubt there were a few holiday makers and prawn sandwich glory hunters who stayed away but there was a genuine reason why there were big gaps.

I didnt have a ticket for the match yesterday but going to see my mum i was stuck on the M11 for over 4 hours in a traffic jam noticed the were loads of gooners in cars on there too. This might be why there were loads of spare seats too as well as the fire someone else said about. 4 fucking hours i havent been so frustrated sitting there since . . . . .. i saw Hleb pass instead of shoot
