Erm, by the way... as you say "we", does that mean there's a consensus on this? - if that's the case, then sorry you all feel that way, but for what it's worth... I am a nice bloke!

I wasn't even being argumentative. Augie said "some" people defend hart; I was querying who he was referring to, that's all. If he meant on this thread the that's not really the case... if he meant in the media, the reaction is mixed. That's all I said.

When I say "some have defended hart" I do mean on here - there is no denying that without kompany citeeh's defence is poor but that doesn't excuse the horrendous fcuk ups the guy has made this season (and there has been a few). Northbank mentioned the folly of playing Javi Garcia in defence but he wasn't even playing in defence today. People can rightly blame citeeh's defence for the first chav goal today (clichy was fcuking awful ) but it doesn't matter who is in your back 4 when your keeper rushes out of his area like a deranged lunatic with the time almost up, cos there is nothing a defence can do to legislate for that

I don't think I've changed at all, but ermm.... well, nothing I can add to that really

As for your son... good on him. It's a great experience and, if he works hard and adds some work experience to his CV, it'll open doors if he gets a 2:1. Too many people waste the opportunity though, so if he's not working hard enough after the first year (which is generally a doss anyway then give him a clip around the ear and remind him you know how to make him disappear without a trace if he doesn't get his arse in gear! )
