THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That is farcical alright, although not quite as farcical as when he won the coach of the decade award a while back

Don't see an awful lot wrong with him being on that list. He's not going to win it but he has had a decent enough year. If Ancelotti and the fat spanish waiter can make the list...

Jupp Heynckes should win it

Presuming Chelsea go and finish the job tonight he's only one shot at ending a trophy drought of 9 years......how many managers of a supposed leading European club would allow that. Not a single domestic cup to show over all that time - absolutely abysmal

The man that time forgot

Managed to have a free run at the cream of French football when the English game mostly consisted of Neanderthal managers or those frightened by Johnny Foreigner. Luckily for the Self Harmer he got that free ride at a time when French football was hitting heights never seen before or since

Since English football opened its eyes to the rest of the world and French football went down the toilet he's been found out for the "non European Cup winner" that he is.

The type of tame sacrifice we witnessed tonight will be repeated at least half a dozen more times this year as our season peters out into a 4th place tussle with the non scoring Spuds

As long as the dictator is still in charge, we will be fighting for 4th place. Buying a world class player won't change anything
