Smith's far less critical than most of us are on here. I think he's disappointed and he's right.
We have very little pace in the side, with Theo, Ox, Gnabry all out and Ryo fast but not good enough. Wilshire drove me mad, holding on to the ball a second too long, then misplacing a pass. Chelsea put up the usual Mou defensive wall and as usual, we found no way to crack it open. Far too easy for them.
Rosicky will be run into the ground soon, Ozil's already looking tired, Ramsey ditto. Keeping Giroud and Koscielny fit is absolutely crucial. Didn't think Vermaelen was too bad, but poor Jenkinson was out of his league.
Chelsea outclassed us. Mourinho's one failing is not to play Mata regularly in his first team, a decision I just can't understand unless it's personal dislike from the whole Spanish thing.

Bendtner should pursue a new career in hairdressing.

Due to other commitments I only seen the first 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes (although I did sky + the rest in case of a miracle   ).

In the time I did watch the game, I seen the worlds greatest danish striker miscontrol 3 good passes and then I witnessed the introduction of super quality park and all I could do was think about Steve O and I nearly pissed myself laughing

The reality is that we are average in too many key area's and of course that comes down to the mismanagement by a c**t that should have been run out of town years ago :x I understand the sentiment of topgoon (and a few others) that say that we shouldnt go into meltdown cos we knew it was coming but when you care so much about something then how do not go into meltdown ? Of course there are a few d*ckh**ds trying to shout us down claiming that we have been waiting for this moment and maybe we have cos any right minded person would have seen that collapse  Should we not say anything cos it might piss off some of the wenker brigade ?

Deeply stupid comment. I'm embarrassed for you.
He never has a good word to say about the Arsenal, not just last night.
Can't agree. Like most pundits/co-commentators, he praises us when it is deserved and he criticises us when it is deserved. What do you want? An obviously biased pundit saying everything is wonderful when it isn't?
Hes one of the more intellegant pundits IMHO, why Owen and Savage get anywhere near the microphone or keyboard is beyond me, never had much intellegance when the were behind the ball, why should that change now :banghead:

The match was a massive disappointment, Ryo needs to get more chunky and play out on loan, he isnt getting enough games, the same could be said for Bendy, he was booed off last night, Cant really see him going anywhere soon as others have said :(

Im hopeful that certain strikers are being tapped up but I doubt it. Ba should have been locked in at The Grove until he signs for us. He isnt getting enough games at Chelski

Two other things that i hope are noticed by those in the know was the ground looked pretty empty of our fans by 80 minutes, and there are still a lot of red membership tickets available for Marseille, suggests that enthusiasm and support could be dropping a bit maybe, though they arent PL matches which may explain that :?:

Haven't read the entire thread, but wanted to note just how much of a *word censored* Mourinho is.

Vermaelen should've been sent off in my opinion, but with a 2-0 lead, and one minute left in the game, why the fuck is Mourinho brandishing an imaginary red card? Totally disgusting behaviour, and the bloke clearly has some issues.

It was pretty grim last night ; 9,000 Chavs lording it over us as their team were so superior on the pitch. I yearn for the days when we were the undisputed Kings of London and they hadn't won a pot for 25 years. The roles used to be reversed and we used to go to the Bridge and show them who's boss.

I know it was only the League Cup, but still feeling depressed right now ; just treated myself to a Twix AND a Topic from the work vending machine to try and cheer myself up.

Bendtner was absolute shite last night. It really was an unacceptable performance. His touch was atrocious, nothing was sticking, he didn't link with the midfield at all, didn't show for the ball, didn't even have a shot on goal in however fucking long he was on for.

But worse than that, he didn't even look bothered. I can accept it to a certain extent if he's playing shit, or rusty or whatever, but what I can't accept is lack of effort. He should've been chasing everyone down and working his arse off for the team and he did absolutely none of that.

Imagine if Giroud picks up an injury and is out for a couple of months. We've got absolutely nothing and that's a very worrying prospect because as good a start as we have had this season, we could just as easily plunge the other way with a few poor results.

I'm glad we are out of this competition, its a waste of time.
Don't get me wrong I love it when we beat decent sides (which hardly happens) but the quicker we are out of the champions league and FA cup the better.

We have no squad depth to play all those cups; if we don't concentrate, we will never get a better chance to win the Premier League like this year.

He was so bad, I was hoping Adebayor would come on, just to tell him how shit he is.

Have to admit Abramowich turning them from a midtable cup team to what they are now is annoying, but despite all the stats, they only starte to get one over on us when we decided to let them. He didn't beat us till we decide to swap,Keown/Campbell/Toure/Lehman for Senderos/Cygan/Gallas/Coco the clown/Fat Santos/Flappy.

No choice but to grin and bear it, chances are any of their fans lording it over you back thought Chelsea was somewhere you went shopping till the glory sorry Abramowich years

I feel your pain. It was embarrassing to hear those no mark no history chav tossers giving it large. Only thing worse would be (God forbid) if the vermin ever step up... :|

Everything has probably already been said, but really who cares? I don't :)

We're paying for years of under investment.

Bendtner, shows why he couldn't buy a game a juventus.
Park, probably a better soldier than he is a footballer.
Ryo, too weak.
Gnabry, how the hell did he get injured ???, welcome to the club!

painful watching ozil and santi trying to 'link up' with bendtner.

I just hope that the usual hang over is annihilated quickly and we stuff those cocksure scousers on Saturday.

Ozil gave his shirt to Mourinho as he says he's the best coach in the world and like a father to him.
Someone have a word with young Mesut.
