Stag do - Newcastle

I have been given the "honour" of being best man at my mates wedding..........the good news is i also have the "honour" of ruining the poor swine in his Stag Destination of choice - Newcastle.

Can any recommend any good haunts for a group of lads "on an outing".......any decent bars, etc ?

Please Basement, apologies, just wouldnt mind it sitting here for a bit to get some exposure from the "hardcore" lads

I have been to a couple of stag do's in Newcastle. I had a cracking time on both.

First off - Titty bars. I think that the best one was For Your Eyes Only. Not cheap but stunning women. If you are planning on going then look out for the promotion girls on the street outside. Let them 'persuade' your group to go in and get free entry and maybe a drink. Otherwise you will pay a tenner to get in.

If you are thinking of watching a match on TV then Linekers Bar (yeah I know, I know!) is not bad. Loads of TV's and full of stag and hen do's. The staff pretty much let you be as loud/disruptive as you want.

The Gate building is full of bars, clubs and I think a casino. It is rammed on a Saturday night.

To be honest we just got ratted and wondered about. You easily spot the decent places. Bouncers can be right arseholes with stag do's though. Wearing group t-shirts will get you stopped going into a lot of bars.

If you want your stag to get killed then put him in a Sunderland shirt for an afternoon. The abuse our stag got was actually frightening!!!!

I met a group of 15 geordies who did a stag weekend in Pattaya (Thailand ) ! landed on Saturday flew back Monday now that's a stag weekend !

As long as you get people there and a place to stay (although shag or shiver does up the stakes) it won't take much planning. Most places in Newcastle are absolutely bouncing on Fri + Sat nights and it's all pretty condensed so nowt wrong with wandering round and seeing where you fancy imo

Just watch out for the women whose beards run from their chins to their bollocks. So Spuddy reckons anyway...
