I thnk last night's efforts may well hinder us a bit up there. Manure will have had an extra days rest and are difficult to beat at home anyway. Having said that, if teams like Southampton can go there and get a result then there is no reason why we cannot.
I think this will be a very cagey game and they'll be very physical. It will be the midfield that dominates and I think ours is stronger than theirs. All we have to do is stop their midfield delivering the ball to RVJC and I think we'll be okay.
My only real concern here is that we'll fininsh the game with more injuries than goals.

Prediction: either a low scoring draw or a narrow win for us.

Can someone get me a new fence, I think I've worn this one out :D

Form never counts for these games. The one difference this year is the manager. Fergie was a tactical God, he did incredible shit with a shit squad. Now moyes has changed things around including backstaff etc, things are not the same anymore. We cant go there expecting to run all over them, but heres a chance to show evra who the kids really are.

I think everybody agrees that Ferguson squeezed everything out of his squad but I certainly wouldn't call him a tactical god. In fact I think he was tactically limited in relative terms to the vast success he achieved, and that played a large part in their record in Europe (although 2 CLs is nothing to be sniffed at perhaps only Bayern and Madrid have rivalled them for domestic dominance during the last two decades) and his record against Mourinho.

Yeah he knew how to play us up there but then so did half of the managers in the league.

Dare I say it, a defeat wont be the end of the world.

I'd take a draw personally and think we are good enough to even win this season.

Looking forward to the United game even more now. Regardless of the result we'll still be top! :barscarf:

There is no way we'll get anything there - the FA would shit a brick.

That said, and to paraphrase Keegan, I would luv it if we stove them on their own patch, luv it.

I'm not sure about this under Moyes, if Ferguson was still manager your right we simply would not be allowed to win this game, I wonder if he'll pop down from the directors box to give it the 'you know what do lads' cue kicking Ozil up in the air 3 times in the first 10 mins ala Reyes, I hate to be the eternal pessimist but a win for us would kill their season and it would be great to do that, but in the past they've always managed to pull themselves out of a hole, I'm still pissed off about the 2004 FA cup semi

As has already been said, this game will be decided by the ref and unfortunately I don't trust any of the premier league refs so not optimistic we won't get someone wrongly sent off and the judas, prick turncoat back stabbing ,piece of sh*t,badge kissing, c*m stain w**king ,motherf**king c**t, shrek and young will probably be diving all over the shop and getting away with it.
Do we have to read this?

The bloke was found innocent and played or us for eight years.

Regardless of how he left, it does not suddenly make him retrospectively guilty of what very much looked like a fit up.

Point taken, and duly changed to make you happy

Although the performance and result last night was incredible, we did look a bit overpowered in midfield, especially in the first half. Santi, in particular was outpaced and outmuscled (not that he's a battler at the best of times) and if he's on the left Gibbs could find himself marking RvP and Valencia. If Flamini is fit I'd keep Santi on the bench, but I am generally a pessimist when it comes to football. Either way, while history says we struggle there, current form and squad strength, particularly in midfield, say we should win. I've actually got butterflies imagining looking at a table with us 11 points ahead of them.

Anyone seen what Gary Neville has been saying on twitter? Once a *word censored* always a *word censored* I suppose. Pretty much calling for the team to go out and ignore playing football in try to kick us off the park;
"Is Reyes Playing? Could be one of those days!"
"You were better at football than us and we had to win so needs must!"
What is he England assistant manager? Setting a good example at least...twat

What a result...last years finalist, only beaten once in 62 games at home, 4th favourites to lift the trophy, never beaten by an English team before tonight, THAT WAS ONE OF THE BIG BOYS. Wenger got the tactics spot on after the first leg, let them have the ball and run around getting tired then hit them late on. We rode our luck a little in the first half but they only really had one good chance. United next and let's hope it's a fair referee who watches out for the Man Ure divers. There will be a lot of tired legs though and the red drivels would have had an extra days rest after playing a dud team.

Gotta a good feeling about this one, my left bollock says 1-3 to The Arsenal, my right bollock says 1-4 to the Arsenal.

Gotta say that my left bollock has the better scoreline prediction stat

Hopefully we fuck United's shit up. So annoyed by these POS always somehow dominating us despite having a weak team, certainly on paper, the past few years.

Should have Arteta and Flamini in the middle, cut off their supply lines to their wingers and forward. The only two players of note they have are Van Judas and Shrek. We should be able to dominate Carrick and Fellaini or Cleverly easy. I don't even rate Carrick he can easily be bullied off the ball. Don't know how much an option getting stuck into them is going to be though seeing as refs will always support united :banghead: .

Actually looking forward to this match for once, should be an easy victory but we all know how hard the friggin' refs make the matches for us against united.

United's defence is shit, their midfield is shit. We'll be high on confidence, should be an easy victory, 100% serious. Gollum is going to get trolled hard.

Compare the teams on paper and you will be left wondering why the heck this is being described as a close match in the first place. If only football was as simple.

Only worry is our left hand side which has looked the most vulnerable in recent matches. Hope Gibbs is up to it. Think we'll go with Flamini, Arteta and Ramsey in midfield. Ozil on the left, Cazorla on the right.
