Oatcake Fanzine-The gift that won't stop giving

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Oatcake Fanzine-The gift that won't stop giving

Post by topgoon »

I have to admit it's a bit sad but anytime I feel like a good laugh I head to the old Kunckle draggers cave hangout known as Oatcake fanzine....well it gives me a break from sipping coffees whilst reading the liberal pinko leftie papers all us Islington fannies read. I'll pretend I don't live in south London just for the benefit of the missing links at the Brit.

They have a thread that's in response to our win against Dortmund, which had me wetting myself laughing.
Apparently the tame Brit will have us all crying and wanting mummy when the missing links start singing a song made popular by a welsh bloke with a dodgy fro' that likes to think he's god's gift to Soul...aaah Delilah why oh why eh.

Anyway read it and enjoy http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thr ... 57/arsenal

One of them wrote: "I don't give a shit who wins the league. It's just not relevant to us and probably never will be."

Good.

They do talk some bollocks :D

Didn't understand half of that to be honest but comparing our Dortmund win to their vague attempt at football was brilliant.
They also think we drag up Rambo's injury all the time but whenever I hear about it, it's from one of those *word censored* whining about poor little Ryan and the vicious witch hunt led by the media and our club :blah:

I see that they're still under the impression that they have an intimidating atmosphere. I've been to U10 matches that were scarier.

Some classic quotes on there from the Mongoloids, I choose this one as my favourite:-

"Great result for them last night and, let's face it, if they're unfazed by the atmosphere in Dortmund, they'll hardly be shitting themselves with fear at The Brit."

I'm almost in shock at this rare dose of realism from one of their supporters

If a Gooner was on fire.I wouldn't even piss on him to help put the flames out. :P
Maybe piss on the bit of him that wasn't on fire?
I'd pour petrol on, wait until the fire had all but disappeared, then piss on what was left.
Classy, as ever  .

To be fair, you have to take your hats off for their way of trying to raise their clubs status by trying to establish a 'rivalry' with a good team.

The definition of a virgin in Stoke is a ten year old who can run faster than her uncle. If God wanted to give the world an enema, He'd stick the tube in Stoke (or N17).

My geography of Britain's shittest towns is a bit sketchy, do they have any local rivals of their own because I can't help but think they're trying desperately hard to 'adopt' us

Isn't there a BNP or EDL meeting which they should all be at?

Err yep its the mighty Port Vale.......which explains their need to find a fake rivalry to brighten up their mundane existence
