its a win win situation for utd today, everybody is expecting them to lose so anything for them is a bonus, plus our record at OT of late is piss poor, this seasons stats favour us greatly but that wont mean anything once the game kicks off, plus they have RVP and Rooney, anything is possible with them,i just hope we don't kick start their season today

Why does Wenger always come out with these embarassing quotes before every Utd game? 99% of the time they bite him on the arse. He should shut up and let the results on the pitch do the talking.

Anyway, huge game today. A bit nervous already & still 4 and a half hours to go. Just hope that we play as well as we can because they're there for the taking. Utd's defence is so bad, so if we play this sideways tippy tappy bollocks on the 18 yard box, letting them get everyone back in position, i'll be pissed. Speed, precision and penetration please, make their keeper work.

UTA.
Why does he feel compelled to make these stupid comments at such times??? He had a few tongue-in-cheek digs at Fergie's effect on refs which tbh was justified, funny and if it had any effect at all it'll be to highlight the refereeing performance today. But this is just needless - we're playing well and just had two excellent results - where's the need to heap pressure on ourselves and give everyone else extra motivation to see us fail so they can ram it down his throat?

"I would say this group is as successful as Manchester United's group of players were". Now he probably meant it compared to that lot at the same age but anybody with half a brain would have realised that the media were going to construe it as though he was saying that these handful of players who've achieved the square root of fuck all at professional level are on a par with those 6 players who have won 50+ major trophies between them probably.

Biggest game weve had for years this, its up there with Brum 07-08 and the cup final in 2011 for me.If we win or even draw in good circumstances it will give us a lift through the break, lose especially the way we usually do up there and it will put a dampner around the place.

Yeah, but anyone with half a brain knew exactly what Wenger meant and won't fall for the media's usual tricks. Sadly, there's enough morons in this country without half a brain, which is why Wenger (and all people working with the media) need to careful about every single thing they say.

Sad really, and that's life. :(

Mertesacker is a big blow. You don't want to be changing your defence when you're away at Old Trafford :( hopefully Vermaelen doesn't do what he did here last season and gift RVP a goal :?

Still, not a bad replacement as long as he's on his game. 8) Rosicky is a blow as well, but I wasn't sure if he'd start anyway - I did wonder if Flamini would come in, and Ramsey pushed further forward. Guess that'll happen now.

#Arsenal subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Monreal, Hayden, Gnabry, Wilshere, Bendtner #MUFCvAFC

Pretty poor bench, no real game-changers there.

Wilshere in if we will be losing, Monreal if we will be drawing or winning, Bendtner I hope never but if we will lead, somewhere around 90th minute.

Wasn't podolski in full training a few weeks ago? And Wally?
