Im not too disheartened and would have taken what we got from last 3 games had I been offered it. Whats more annoying is Bendtners continued involvement in the team, He is a fucking disgrace.
the utd loving media will have their wankathon and hansen and co will claim themselves vindicated, fuck the lot of them.
International break for once is coming at a good time and hopefully pod and walcott will be back soon.

We should have started with Gnabry and Giroud up front, to put them on the back foot from the off and trusted Rambo and flam to screen the back four, with Ozil and Caz free to roam.

But the tv analysis showed Caz Ozil and Ramsey all way too deep to be anyway effective .

We got beat not by skill or effort today but by tactics - same as the chavs.
I wouldn't fucking mind, but in all the years they've been shit hot he's sent us up there wide open......throwing Jenkinson and Traore to the wolves in the 8-2 debacle and year after year watching Santos or Gibbs ripped to shreds by double up wingers/full backs cruising past the likes of Arshavin or Nasri

The one fucking time he should have gone on the offensive he set us up like a Benitez team !!! AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH

Who cares where Bendtner is from? It's cheap shot.
I don't give a where he's from either Quartz......don't bring that into it, its a simple point of reference.
It is not simple "point of reference" when used in that context though, when used as an insult.
It brings nationalistic prejudice into it which is the thin end of the wedge.
Look into it as deeply as you want and try to make some false point or understand it in the throwaway, frustrated context it was intended. Your call.

So according to some, Ozil is now shit and dis-interested, Carzola goes missing.

You really couldn't make some of this shit up.

Who said Ozil was shit and disinterested???

Isn't there a difference between pointing out when a bloke hasn't had a great game and calling him shit ?

Cazorla has gone missing I'm afraid and if you can't see that you must be mad - he was anonymous today, substituted when we actually needed attacking players on the field.

Said Ozil looked disinterested which was spot on if you bothered to pay attention. Countless misplaced passes, jogging everywhere, don't think he bothered to even jump for a free header when a ball came in. I put it down to fatigue and him being overworked due to the intensity of the league. Don't think anyone said he is shit, but he was shit today when we needed him to step up.

It's Cazorla* btw.

Reminded me of Dortmund at home.

We played at a pedestrian predictable pace. They hunted in packs and were first to the ball every time.
We improved 2nd half but there was no pace.

Never looked like scoring and our passing was piss poor especially from Gibbs and Ramsey.

Sagna was excellent second half but none of the strikers took a gamble.

We lost to a very ordinary side . They played to win, we thought we would win simple as that.

100% spot on in the space of a few words

The look on Sagna's face after he threw in that perfect cross at the end to see that fucking tool dangle a leg towards it said it all

Our set pieces were poor today. Arteta used to be a free kick specialist, ozils kicks were just not dangerous enough.

Today was the day to really get at them, only Sagna and Jack did. Everyone else was too deep and too slow to bring in Giroud, Ozil and Cazorla much.

We didn't play our game today - due to the manager, who again blamed the players, this time for being too scared.

Wenger still believes in a one size fits all strategy n set up.

Disappointing.

Our away run has been remarkable but today was always going to be a different type of game to any of the others. We're a team that more than most relies on a high tempo and attacking at pace because we don't have anyone who's going to skin 3 players on their own and we don't have a class striker who can pick the ball up anywhere in the box and score.

We've been so successful away because all teams show a bit more endeavour, commit more men forward and consequently leave bigger gaps and are more susceptible to a counter-attack etc. Of course we don't solely score from counter-attacks but we've won so many games because of the lightning fast way we can move the ball in the opposition half in these games.

United on the other hand are very different in that they don't really commit CMs forward and rely on Rooney dropping deep to chase the ball instead of CMs pushing up to press against us. We were never going to be able to get in behind their midfield by zipping a few sharp one-touch passes around their CMs who were trying to nick the ball because they were quite happy leaving 9 men behind the ball whilst Rooney ran around like a blue-arsed fly hassling our defenders and midfielders who dropped deep. Same happened last year and we fell right into the trap again.

Come on you have to admit they were poor today.

About 4 times Ozil was in a position to deliver a defence splitting pass, and each time it would have been easier to find a team mate yet he passed to the opposition. The worst was when he had to ping a pass out to..I think it was Gibbs wide left just beyond Jones and it wasn't that difficult a pass for a player of his stature and he pinged it straight to Jones. If you get a chance watch that moment again, it was poor for a players as good as he is.

We expect more from those 2 as they are our naturally best players and in games against the better opposition it's the little bits of World class magic they do that makes the difference between a narrow defeat and a hard earned point.

I've taken a few hours out to calm down but I'm still bitterly disappointed as to how we set up not to get beaten, as opposed to taken the game to a poor Utd side.

The decision not to sign a top-drawer striker in the summer looks all the more stupid now as Giroud is clearly blowing out of his arse, and Bendtner is just an absolute shithouse and just isn't good enough for a club like us. Plus, the sight of him passing the ball 20 yards into touch when attempting to trap the ball has gotten very old.

A massive opprotunity missed and a rude awakening for a side with 'tiltle ambitions'.

Tactics were all wrong.

Why use Dortmund tactics against Man Utd :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Why were out players taking 2/3 touches before passing when they were being closed down at a tenacious rate :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Where was the quick 1-2 passing :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Where were Cazorla and Ozil :banghead: :banghead:

Why was Ramsey on the right :banghead: :banghead:

Wilshere, Gnabry, Vermalen and Sagna were the only players who did decent. Everyone else was shite.

Why play 2 DM against Man Utd?
