As the final whistle goes at Wembley, a big collective roar of "Thank fuck we've got proper football back this weekend"

Ozil got a nice rest. Per had a couple of nice headers. Gibbo got another cap.
England got off lightly - Ozil, Lahm, Neuer and Khadira would have toasted them.

Re: Boring International Games or Children in Need
This game as sobering as it is for England shows what they can be.
Get rid of Fat fwank,Stevie Me,Vibrating mobile phone and all the other useless golden generation.
Use the example the Nigerian manager used that won them the C.A.N . Get rid of the older prima donnas get in mostly younger hungrier players and let them play together for every game, injury permitting.
FFS develop an identity. Right now they just look like clueless tw*ts.

pretty much what Klinsmann has done in the USA as a part-time coach too, and Belgium. both who are deservedly ranked higher than the chavs and tosspots we have now.topgoon wrote:Use the example the Nigerian manager used that won them the C.A.N . Olly and Sagna rested tonight - both on the bench. interesting that they went with a different strike partner for Benzema.
That must be one of the few starting elevens of the last 17 years not to feature one Arsenal player in the line up.

Great nod. I've always seen it as a massive shame that his lead boots stop him from really attacking set pieces, for his height his return is nowhere near what it should be.1989 wrote:Great header from the BFG.

I thought Mertesacker came to Arsenal with a good record for goals? Dunno what the stats were but I must admit I was expecting a few more that he has chipped in with.northbank123 wrote:Great nod. England might move forward after getting rid of the likes of Fat Frank and Gerrard.

Counting on my support next summer ? AbsolutelyActually I'm partially disgusted with myself that I get so desperate for some footie action in the summer that I actually end up glued to the tv to watch the games

Btw I do accept your "outdated" point
england 2 ireland 1
sansom and anderson were playing for england
brady scored a late consolation
as Previous posters have said i see little evidence of where this supposed arrogance of england fans comes from
we don,t have the ball as a friend therefore will never do anything as a consequence
we won,t allow young players to make mistakes therefore will never do the much needed overhaul
we have 32 players who have only ever won 1 cap
germany have 8
says something about how we hand out our caps
but ultimatly as an arsenal fan i could,nt give a fuck and would rather arsenal win the league cup than england win the world cup
i do enjoy the world cup but as another fella said more of an occasion and wall to wall summer football than any belief that england will go to a tournament and win it

before he joined us he had scored 25 goals in 370 games a goal every 14.8
since being here he has 7 in 105 a goal every 15 games
